Brittney Brown1They sent me an offer in the mail in July to skip a payment in August. Needles to say, I took advantage of the offer and signed up in which was handled by Kim. Well, here it is September 6th and I just received a notice saying that my account is delinquent! I went in today, September 6th after receiving a notice that I'd had a change on my credit report. During my visit I spoke to Noe. She was clueless and could not figure out what happened and why the promotion reversed itself. She informed me that she would call me later. About an hour later, she called to inform me that their system deemed me unqualified for the promotion days after I signed up and cancelled itself. I was never notified of this!They never took ownership of their mistake and now my credit score has gone down 20 points because of their mistake! She explained that after I signed up for the promotion, somehow the system rejected it. I was not notified of this and for the entire month of August, I went without making a payment because I was under the impression that I was covered by the promotion in which I signed up for! This is not my first bad experience. Previously, I withdrew money from my savings account and the lady who helped me kept $20 of my withdrawal. After reviewing my receipt and counting my money over and over again, I noticed that it was short. After calling to inform her, she informed me that she had already taken care of it and put it back in my account. I thought it was quite strange being that she didn't notify me of the mistake and I was not made aware that she'd short-changed me until I began counting my money before making a purchase.

The Skip-A-Pay offer was for all payments taking place in September, and this was clearly stated on the postcard and the email that went out to members. Our Operations department attempted to contact you after you put in your Skip-A-Pay request to let you know that your Skip-A-Pay request could not be processed until your August loan payment was made. However, they were unable to reach you. In the future, we will continue to do everything we can to communicate situations like these to our members. We appreciate your feedback on this matter, and we have addressed your concerns with our staff. We are so happy that we were able to work with you to adjust your loan due date.
