  I was referred by a friend to a recently opened (10 months or so) pawn shop in my time of greatest monetary need. But I thought, "Eh, it's just a pawn shop, whatever..." So I arrived with low expectations (as in "low balling"). But I left with a feeling of bewildered amusement. Tanya Pearson and her sister Sarah (co-owner and just as pretty) were not just professional, but they seemed to genuinely care about being able to help me at a time in my life when help was either non-existent, or left wanting. Truly, never before has my life been more mentally, physically, or emotionally chaotic. And it has become sadly apparent that those things lead to financial burden as well. From the moment I walked in I intuited that there was something peculiar about this particular establishment. I had spoken with Tanya via phone previously to explain my plight and inquire about some items (many, many items, in fact) that my friend said they would purchase. I was skeptical, yet not only did she buy from me these items, that they CLEARLY had an over-stock of, but she paid 150% MORE than any other pawn shop I had researched! Just to HONOR their WORD!! Wow... Old school... Just when hopeless despair and cynicism was about to tighten its choking grasp around the throat of my soul, I am unexpectedly shone what I believed to be a dying breed of customer-service oriented barterer, still exists. Halle-freakin'-lujah!!! Now, though I do have more nice things to express about a most wonderful experience, to you, dear Christmas Shopper or Wayward Soul in need, (Alas, there are not enough stars in the Heavens to properly rate "Pawn Central", so I guess they can have 5) I must away to said premises. Because whilst being lavished with professional courtesy and neighborly kindness, my eye was summoned to a plethora of VERY nice tools that I am in need of, at prices just as attractive as the owners. All that being said... I want to get there BEFORE YOU!!!! Adieu! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chance E. Pants tested and approved 👏👏👏👏👏BRAVO LADIES👏👏👏👏👏

  Very helpful! Nice shop and great selection. Very highly recommended, the sisters that run the shop are very kind and helpful. Wouldn’t recommend any other shop to go to!

  100/100 recommended, best pawn shop i have ever been to by far. Amazing customer service and they work with you and make sure you leave happy. If i could rate them more than 5 stars i would in a heartbeat.

  Wow what a place you're looking to get good prices On just about anything You have to visit 1 22nd start central pawn It's ran by 2 wonderful sisters aren't just cute they're nice funny and work really hard on getting top dollar for what you have no better place then central pawn located 122nd and stark Portland oregon

  Pawn central is the only pawn shop i will ever do my business with .very understanding with real life problems both them went out of there way to ,o help me they are the real deal honest,they genuinely care. About helping people in there time of need.thank you for everything.

  The ladies that work there are very nice and easy to work with. When I was there they had some very sketchy and unruly customers and they handled it professionally and elegantly definitely will go back

  These ladies are wonderful! I randomly stopped in looking for a Bluetooth speaker and they had just what I wanted and more! So grateful I popped in. Will be my first stop for any future needs!
