  Parker Kauffman is an excellent company but they can only do so much. The house we stayed in (Cottage 09) was a nice house though it’s obviously a rental as the furnishings need some tlc (outdoor tv does not work, fire table had no propane, rug stained, there was no broom but pk brought one very quickly, sofa was broken to the point only two people felt comfortable sitting on it and when we booked the place it said there were four bikes when we arrived there were only three bikes but only one bike was usable) The advertised discount of 50% was never given despite dining at the WeePub three times during our stay. Each time we asked our server had no idea what we were talking about. So even though I’d book with Parker Kauffman again, I will not be staying in Cottage 09 again and really feel if I were the owner I’d make good on the 50% at the Wee Pub and the bike rental we paid for three bikes for a week.

  Any place on this island is a great location but for paying 1700.00 a week to sleep on foam toppers is a rip off. Every bed in this house is literally a 4 to 2 “ foam topper. Then you have to rent your liens which I’ve never Done in my 15 years of travel. I asked for bedding for every bed in the house we got two. The kids slept on the sofa pull out cause it was better than the beds;( In my order we asked for towels and bath mats. That was 4 towels for a week and two Rubber bath mats that are suppose to go in the bottom of the tub. Needless to say but there was water on the bathroom floors ALL the time. There is a second bathroom with a shower but you can barely turn around in. I’m 5’7” at 140lbs! So all 4 of us just used the main one. Then you are expected to clean ( wipe down the counters, sweep and vacuum ) before you leave?!?!?!? This is what a cleaning service does. We had an amazing vacation despite the housing situation. 😑

  We have stayed on Jekyll Island many time over the years. Parker-Kaufman can be relied upon for professional assistance with securing a vacation home. Their knowledge of the area and experience make them an excellent resource for planning a visit. They've always been helpful with bookings and in arranging to solve any problems we might experience.

  We have visited Jekyll island for over 40 years and have rented several years from Parker Kaufman.Very accommodating when we had to change our rental dates. Also very prompt fixing dish washer issue with rental in the past. Friendly pleasant staff.rentals are less expensive during off season and away from roads near beach. Island is small so getting to beach from plantation and capt wyley side roads is easy. Pet fee @ PK is very reasonable. Ask for skip he’s very helpful!

  We have rented off Parker Kaufman for 6 years and have had a great experience every time that we have stayed. Houses are always so clean!! Loved the extra gift basket this year with things to "get us started"!!!

  We rent from Parker Kaufman every year, sometimes, more than once a year. The staff are always helpful, the rentals are always clean. We are never disappointed. We can always find a rental that fits our budget, and we love the peaceful, relaxing pace of the island.

  Absolutely loved renting from Parker Kaufman . The the rental unit was clean and ready for us they sent all information we needed prior to our arrival. We have rented from them the last 3 years and they have been absolutely wonderful. They are always pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend them for any sales and rentals you are interested in.

  We have used Parker Kaufman every year for over a decade to rent a beach house for a week of relaxing on Jekyll, and we have always had a positive experience with their company. The same people are in the office year after year, so it must be a nice place to work!

  My family and I enjoyed our stay at Villas by the Sea Villa 330. The 3 bedroom Villa has been completely renovated and had amazing pool views from both balconies. I look forward to using Parker Kaufman again and staying in Villa 330 on our next visit to Jekyll Island.

  We have stayed on Jekyll Island once a year for the last 35 years. This realty company has shown us that they care about their customers. When problems arose they handled quickly and efficiently. I will keep on using them for our rentals each year.
