  I have been in the business for almost 20 years and very persnickety about the lenders I recommend. Ernie is one of those lenders. They have always closed on time and the last 4 we actually closed a week to two weeks early. I think Ernie and his team at OVM Financial are top notch and a breath of fresh air.

  I bought a house in Richmond, VA, far from Ernie in Roanoke, VA, but I knew he is an honest, reliable person to work with. I cannot express how pleased I am with Ernie and Edie for getting me a fantastic loan in under 30 days. Specifically, once I picked a house to buy, they had my loan ready in 14 days. Ernie was very available to answer my many questions, and Edie was incredibly patient with me as we assembled all the documents for my loan approval. Ernie wrote me over 15 pre-approval letters, and moved mountains for me without complaint. No matter where you are buying or refinancing a home, Ernie, Edie, and OVM in Roanoke will take fantastic care of you.

  Ernie was great to work with, he always picks up the phone even on the weekend and extremely responsive through email. He worked with me through many preapprovals on different property's, and helped get me a great rate. They were even able to close on my mortgage a few days early!

  My husband and I worked with Kyle Partin, Kristen and Christopher we never thought our dreams of homeownership whatever happened seems like something always happens to make it not happen. If you dream of owning a home I highly recommend working with Kyle he goes above and beyond and even after hours not the standard 9 to 5 like a bank would do. Thanks guys!!

  Rene was professional, knowledgeable, informed and patient. She lead me through the many steps from start to finish and made me feel as though I was her only priority at all times. She went above and beyond what was required. She was recommended to me by my son who worked with her a couple years before when he purchased his home. He sang her praises and I was not disappointed. In fact, another of my sons is considering a move to Virginia and there is no one else he would rather work with based on our family's experience. Rene is a true Rock Star and a shining asset to OVM Financial, Inc.!

  Do yourself a favor and use another loan company, my husband and I had an absolutely terrible experience with them. Unfortunately, we were kind of forced to use ovm due to the type of loan we had to get, and we were told by our realtor to work with Kent Blackburn.. Well that was the second biggest mistake we made. Like previous reviewers have said before me he is extremely unorganized, and kept "loosing" paperwork, it would also go weeks without us even hearing anything from him.. We literally had to be on him every single day just to make sure that he was doing what he was suppose to. Another fun fact, we kept telling Kent that he had our house in the wrong county on all the loan papers and we told him this multiple times, well his respond was that it does not matter... Well guess what, we received a phone call last week from our title/closing company saying that we had to come sign a document since the loan company had it in the wrong county; well isn't that something -.- He ended up costing us a lot of extra money due to his inability to simply do his job. Save yourself the hassle and go with a different company!

  My clients love that Ernie is on top of it all. You ask Ernie to get the client qualified and he won't stop until he has a solution.
