  This is by far the best Credit Union in Knoxville. Auto loan rates that no one can beat with personal care. Brandon Loveday always goes over and above to help with all my banking needs, concerns and questions. He sets the bar for customer service.

  Deposited a check via mobile a week ago and still have no access to the funds and was not told that there would be a nine day hold on it for some reason. Overall most stressful and frustrating experience I've ever had while banking. Update: still waiting on any kind of response and still no access to my funds. Received a seemingly automated message that hasn't helped my situation at all. I have made multiple calls and sent emails to no avail and would highly recommend if someone is looking for a bank to look elsewhere.

  FYI! There is no benefit to being a member of ORNLFCU. The average customer does not make any interest putting their hard earned money in ORNLFCU. People be smart and make your money earn money. Check your interest rates with ORNLFCU. Customers are Loosing. Fact check what you are making in interest on your money.

  This location does not have an ATM machine outside. This location says it is open until 5:30 but locks it's doors at like 5:10. It's a huge joke. Terrible customer service.

  Some of the nicest banking staff in Knoxville. Nothing but positive experiences. Online banking is easy to use, and I have my debit and credit cards through them without having had an issue with either. I have had my credit card stolen on one occasion and the bank staff was extremely profession and efficient in helping sort things out!

  I have had nothing but disappointments from ORNL Federal Credit Union. Compared to our old credit union in Johnson City (ECU) and Knoxville TVA Credit Union they are just not up to par. We switched after moving to Knoxville and hearing good things, but their bill pay takes literally weeks to process (ECU and Knox TVA at MOST take 3-5 days) because they cut a physical check and mail it to the payee. Let's face it, if they're going to go through all of that, I might as well just mail a check myself. You have to ask for checks and they charge $20+ to order them (ECU and Knox TVA both offer free checks when you open an account). Knoxville TVA offers the same types of accounts (Christmas club, vacation savings, checking, etc.) and the cents roundup program for your checking/savings accounts. Would HIGHLY recommend Knoxville TVA Credit Union any day over ORNL FCU.

  Wow! They offer great service. I am a international student with my visa expiring within 1.5 years. I went to several banks including UTFCU where they declined my auto loan just based on visa. ORNLFCU did not have any visa requirement for loan, have a first time auto buyer program and approved my loan and handed me a cheque just within fee hours. The APR was very low, as compared to UTFCU. They won a me as a customer. I must mention Mr. Luna, who made loan processing very easy.

  My purse was stolen on 04/16/16 and my life history was in it of course. I immediately called card services and reported my loss but someone had already used my information and bank card. This was on a sat evening so I had to wait til Monday morning to go to my Branch at 5505 Kingston pike. I spoke to the nicest lady named Elaine. I was very upset crying and all because I had no ID or nothing. Could not even buy my morning offee. However Elaine was so kind and very patient and calmed me right down. She took care of all my needs with great professional and speed and kindness spirit. I could tell she was a very kind person and some how wanted to thank her for her kindness and smile. SO THANK YOU ELAINE and to her boss, SHE NEEDS TO BE REWARDED. I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT THE DMV AND SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE WILL BE JUST AS KIND. LOL

  Very difficult log in whenever they change formats. They could not reset over the phone. The rep asked that I come into a branch which is highly inconvenient. Overall poor website and the mobile app is a joke. The result because of this lack of information and training makes me lose precious time to explain for the 3rd time to another rep and this time in person in the middle of my busy day. In the meantime my account is inop. Terrible bank.

  Great service, low rates on car loans, and a nicely remodeled office make banking here a pleasure.
