  We had done a refi with JJ two years ago and we already knew that he and his team were excellent. However, we were moving, going in on another 30 year fixed and hopefully upgrading our neighborhood in the process. I knew there were a lot of moving parts and issues with timing when trying to sell our current home and buying another one. My first phone call to JJ was this question: “JJ, our kids are hitting school-age and we want to move closer to friends. Can we pull off this neighborhood (insert neighborhood of choice)?” Our family was trying to find a home in a specific neighborhood but not stretch ourselves financially. At that point JJ and his team were ON IT. The thing I appreciate the most is the flat out honesty you get with his team. You will not hear what you want to hear, you will hear what you NEED to hear. JJ and his team clearly communicate everything that will be needed and will not hesitate to bring up issues that you may have. Hearing bad news sucks, but I definitely appreciated how JJ was able to communicate issues with us. When we started to get serious about purchasing a new home he gave us great advice on the target loan amount, details with the closing finances and he kept us within our goals without stretching our budget. Our journey was definitely stressful for all sorts of other reasons but it was so comforting to know that our loan was taken care of and not something we had to worry about. One of the cooler things he did was make sure both my wife and I were equally in the loop. There was no focus on one spouse over the other since both our names were on the loan. Phone calls were made separately to the both of us so that everything was crystal clear in regards to this huge purchase both my wife and I were getting into. The whole team is super professional, dedicated to serving you and they have a super strong understanding of our Boise market. I would recommend Team JJ to anyone considering a home loan. Simply the best!

  This is my 2nd time working with Grant and his team. The first was when we got the house (four years ago) and now to refinance from a 30 yr loan to a 15 yr loan with a fantastic interest rate! They are on the ball with getting things to you in a timely manner and fantastic communication on what will happen next. The process was smooth and easy. So excited to have a 15 year loan. We are that much closer to our retirement goals. Thanks for helping make that happen.
