  Very welcoming, kind and have amazing relationships with their customers. The environment is positive and light and as someone with social anxiety I really appreciate this. If you're looking for top notch quality this is the pawn shop! The manager is willing to work with you. I went in a couple days ago, wanting to sell some stuff (not even thinking about whether or not they would take some of the items I had, I just assumed they would) I had two steel drums with no stand and she was still willing to take them. She worked with me while at the same time not selling the business short. Integrity, was what I felt. I really needed the money and they came through. Thank you guys! ❤

  Today I had to do something that was very difficult for me and that was pond something extremely valuable to me in order to make payroll for my crew this weekend. I visited the closest pawn shop to me which was in Oxnard I’m not gonna say any names but boy did they try to take hard-core advantage of me. I ended up here at oldtown loan and jewelry. They were swift they were extremely helpful they didn’t haggle me at all and I knew they had to quadruple check with the manager because my number was so high various things. The manager swiftly approved everything and in order to protect their conversation she spoke in Spanish helping me out I’m in a mask they don’t know I understand Spanish I look completely white. I find it hilarious and incredibly helpful what they did for me they tried to do it on the low but I understood exactly what they were saying that made me come here and want to post a review on how helpful they are I’ll never go any other place they were that good. It’s their character it’s that girls character that stood out her name is Alejandra. Killer help. They are totally hidden hard to find but worth it.

  This place has no respect for people’s time. I purposely went by here ahead of time to see if they would take an item of mine, I was told they would. So I went home to retrieve the item, and return to the Sales Associate who told me they would take it. The Sales Associate began processing my item, and then from out of nowhere some Big Shot (that doesn’t have to wear the normal uniform) goes up & whispers in his ear that they don’t accept the item. Thanks a lot for wasting an hour of my time for nothing. Not only will I boycott this place, but I will encourage others to as well.

  We always consider an item for loan so we request for customers to bring them in so we can see what it is exactly that we're potentially lending against/buying. We apologize if our process wasn't made clear; we try our best to accommodate our customers with their needs and if we can't meet them suggest alternatives. Hopefully you'll give us another chance to help you when you need it.

  This business is about a hair short of a complete robbery laundry house. When I had $5,000 worth of personal, irreplaceable, music equipment stolen from my car, I immediately went down the street and alerted THIS pawn shop. Gave them extensive details about my 2 guitars and amp. They wrote it all down in a book and said they would be sure to keep a lookout for it. 3 months later, a friend tells me my amp might be there. Sure enough it's mine, and I get the VPD there and they pull out the purchase/sales records. My 2 guitars were also sold to them at the same time as the amp, and those had already been repurchased to people they have no info on. Clearly, my warning was pointless. My precious guitars...one I had saved up all my money, mowing lawns and washing cars, at 15 years old, never to be seen again. I even had to pay them money to get back my stolen amp they were selling. Here's the kicker, the person who pawned my stuff only asked for $200 for all of it!?!? Don't you think that would be a red flag? Maybe time to look in that book? BUYER BE WARNED. If you have stolen goods, this is a great place to sell them. Turns out, the cops won't even investigate these cases, even though the pawn shop supposedly had a fingerprint and ID of the person who sold it to them. The manager, Diana, was very defensive and never returned my followup phone calls.

  As a musician, sensitive, making ends meet a struggle at times, Olde Town has helped me, comfortably, fairly, I've purchased, pawned, and all transactions, no matter my circumstances,involved humor and a feeling that I was considered more than a profit margin..

  Horrible service, brought a vihuela in, and said they did not take those, manger came out and was rude, she said the instrument looked nasty right in front of me in Spanish, I guess she thought I wouldn't understand her, but I did. This pawn shop lacks knowledge on musical instruments and lacks customer service.

  Traded in an old wedding band for a nearly identical one in my size. I couldn't have beaten the price if I had tried. Thank you Shelley. Love this place. Can't eait to go back!

  If I could give these guys more than 5 stars I would. The customer service was EXCELLENT. I had a issue with a item and they handled it very professional. I would definitely recommend Olde Towne.

  I’ve been going here for years Always Nice and Kind and the Same people year after year! I had a mother’s ring made for my mom they did a great job right there took a ring I picked and changed the stones while I waited ♥️
