      We spent over $70,000 on vehicles in 2018 with 2 DCH dealerships. Both experiences were simply dreadful. We had a Mustang that saw a Ford dealership 12 times in one year. The service department at Ford of Ventura thought our vehicle was a buyback candidate. They supported us every step of the way. The owner even stepped in to make sure we were well taken care of because "it just wasn't right" that we were having so much trouble with the vehicle. Dealerships are not all equal. The dealer we bought from did nothing more than offer to buy it as a trade in and let us loose big. Ford of Ventura supported a vehicle they didn't even make the sale on. I pass on 3 other Ford dealers to drive 30 minutes to come to Ford of Ventura. Service runs behind at times and I try to always pack a little more patience. They are a busy dealership which is a good sign. Very visible, attentive and productive leadership. They are led very well and leadership always trickles down.       Highly recommend any other dealer but them. Co owner Darren is a very quality business man but his staff specifically Billy Cottrell was horrible. This person tried to start a fight with me because I would not buy there vehicle. Any one that wants to discuss my review feel free to call me I will be happy to tell the complete story.

We work with many banks and credit unions in our area but they maintain their own independent guidelines for lending. We can't force them to accept terms or conditions. We apologize for your perception of Billy's intention toward you. It appears, our attempts to elaborate the reasons why California does not allow you trade in a vehicle that belongs to another person not involved in your purchase were misunderstood. We understand it can be complicated and confusing when purchasing a vehicle and do everything possible to provide clear explanations and resources.       Perfect experience. Chad was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Ford was able to service both mine, and my husband's car (last minute) within a day. We were very happy with the price, quality, and schedule. Will be back in a couple weeks for tires, see you soon!

      I wasn't looking for a car but then while at the stop light I saw a mean looking Mustang on their front line glaring at me. I was interested. Around 4 days later on the way back from the Farmers Market I took my husband by to see the car. We looked at it and Sebastian came out to see if we needed help. We talked a little and told him we were just looking at it since we had groceries in the car. He did not use high pressure tactics and was just nice and informative. He did give us his card. I decided that I really wanted the car so I did my due diligence. I looked online, found out information on it, went to other lots but I liked this Mustang (it was specially ordered by the owner so it was not just stock). The online reviews also were sooo much better at Ford of Ventura. My husband and I returned about a week later and test drove that car, then they made me a deal I could not say no too. They were all incredible and so nice. So shout out to Darin who ordered the car the way it was and made my deal possible, Sebastian the Floor Manager, Giovanny in finance, and Rebecca ( also a Stevie Nicks fan) who was funny and had the car ready and waiting for us and configured the car technology when we went to pick it up.

      Absolutely fantastic dealer! My saleswoman, Crystal, and the finance manager, Jose, were great. No pressure, they didn't try and sell me all the extras other dealers do and they were very friendly! It is a smaller dealership...which is a plus in my opinion. Personal service, staff who actually know the products and will give you a fair deal on your trade. If you are tired of the high pressure, impersonal service of those large deals...go to Barber Ford!

      All staff was very helpful! I went in to have my vehicle serviced for routine oil change, and new tires. My vehicle was also inspected for any other problems and was recommended services to repair the issue. Everyone was friendly and I was quoted fair pricing. Definitely recommend.

      I've always had such great service working with Erin, she went above and beyond in my last visit on December 26, 2018. My bill came to around $300.00 and I explained to Erin that I was cash poor during the holidays and that I would have to call her back regarding my coil and spark plug service. However, Erin called me the following day to explain that I had earned credits and that she could extend to me a $100.00 dollar discount. Well, I was so grateful to her for going the extra mile for me. You have yourselves a customer for life, not to mention this story to all my friends at a NYE's party. Thank you Ford of Ventura for your compassion and empathy for a lady stretched so tight at this time of year!

      I'm extremely disappointed in my local ford dealer especially with the appointment scheduler Perry! I was on the phone with him trying to schedule an appointment and he was quick to brush me off and answer the other line. I have spent almost 2k dollars there over my last couple visits and to brush me off while on the phone to answer another line in my opinion is disgraceful. I own a few retail Buisness and would never treat a customer this way. Not to mention the last time my other truck was in there three weeks ago I asked them for a new trailer plug and they left one on my seat because they didn't have time to install it after having my truck for 2 days. When I went to install it, it wasn't even the right plug. How can a dealer not even know the right plug I needed. When I went to return the plug the parts guy didn't even know what plug I needed. He asked me what's the VIN number?? I said are you kidding me? You have had my truck for 2 days and you don't have my VIN to match the correct plug!!! Unbelievable, I don't write to many reviews but I had to this time. Take your ford to Vista Ford in Oxnard. At least they won't give you the run around. SHAME ON YOU VENTURA FORD!!!

      I am really satisfied with my recent work. The dealer could have gouged me for an unnecessary part, but didn't. Instead they took what was there and worked with it. I recommend this dealer to everyone. They are very honest and do great work.
