  We highly recommend & thank Scott, Ricky, and Dan at Norstar Mortgage. Not only did they give us a fantastic rate, but they went above and beyond with their service. First of all, we had several offers on houses where we needed an extremely quick turnaround, and Scott got us the pre-approvals we needed ASAP. Ricky and Scott were both very communicative via email and phone. Second, they were able to get us a rate much lower than we expected and were happy to see! The icing on the cake was when we closed on our house yesterday, and our realtor, the seller's agent, and the notary all said separately that Ricky was amazing. The seller had asked to move up the closing date by 10 days to rent back the house from us, and this task can be really hard for brokers and lenders to accomplish-- not only did Ricky make this work for all of us, but he even was sending our agent updates throughout the process to let him know how things were going, which our realtor was really appreciative of and said doesn't happen often. I highly recommend Norstar!! Thank you so much!!

  Dan, Scott and Ricky are incredible. Extremely responsive and answered all the questions we had. They understand this is a big commitment and work with you to put you in a comfortable spot. Even our Realtor said they were amazing to work with. Said they were super responsive compared to lenders she had worked with in the past which is important especially in a competitive market. We were referred by a family member and are very happy with our choice.

  Dan and Crew did a fantastic job!! They were professional and quick. They made it so the mortgage wasn't a thing I had to worry about during the house buying process. They got me a FANTASTIC rate, and then ended up getting me an even lower rate at closing without me needing to provide input. I would recommend them to anyone and I how they keep up the good work!

  We worked with the Norstar mortgage family on the purchase of two homes. Each time Dan was a fantastic resource for us. He has a ton of experience and knowledge on the industry and was able to secure us a lower than average rate each time. Both Dan and Ricky were extremely professional, responsive and organized. I appreciated having them as a resource for what is not just a massive purchase, but also a huge investment for our family.

  Norstar Mortgage is where it’s at! I have to say that this company has moved heaven and earth to make my home-buying experience not only simple, but very informative as well. I am a house buying newbie to the point where I was completely unfamiliar about literally every step of the process. I am originally from Puerto Rico, where the house buying process is much less complicated, so you can understand how the process quickly became overwhelming when you are receiving emails from 7 different places at the same time asking for 20 different things. The people at Norstar Mortgage (Dan Avanzato, Ricky Avanzato, Scott Martire) were both very informative and kind, but also very patient with me. The process of obtaining a loan was extremely daunting for multiple reasons, but the team at Norstar never made me feel frustrated or overwhelmed. They explained things thoroughly to me, made sure I was informed about the entire process, and answered any silly questions I had. They really did a stellar job. Take into consideration that I was shopping around for loans at a myriad of places (LoanDepot, QuickenLoans, etc.), but none of them could match the rates, fees, service, or general niceness of the people from Norstar. I’m not sure which states they work in specifically or if they’re only PA based, but I can tell you that if you have the opportunity to do your business with Norstar, you should DEFINITELY consider it. You will not be sorry. To my Norstar team, Dan Avanzato, Ricky Avanzato and Scott Martire, I just want you to know ho much I appreciate your positivity, helpfulness, and willingness to work with someone as difficult as I am!! You guys are awesome!
