      90 minutes ago I locked in with NewRez at an interest rate that I felt was fair. At the end of my conversation with the loan officer, I was told that I was locked in and that my rates would not change. I then got a call 45 minutes later telling me that I wasn't locked in and if I still wanted that interest rate I would have to pay another $476. To put it simply, they lied to me. UPDATE: After leaving this review, I received a call from them and they are going to honor their original proposal. Thanks NewRez.

      I purchased a home June of 2019 and I have been making weekly payments for my mortgage and for some reason this company can't grasp this and has charged me several late fees bc they have sent my money to the principal balance, I have called them 7 times telling them to refund my late fees and they haven't, I have emailed them, no response. This is by far the worst mortgage company I have ever used.

      This is, by far, THE MOST DISORGANIZED and time consuming company that I have ever had to deal with. I have been on hold for nearly ONE HOUR just to ask a question that cannot be answered on the website.
