  Bill Chu was on top of everything from the start to beginning. New Castle Loans was probably the simplest home loan company that I have ever done business with. They understood my need and situation and we were able to close pretty quickly.

  I cannot recommend the team at Newcastle enough. We went from finding a home for purchase and loan application to clear to close in 10 days during the holidays. I don't know many lenders that could have gotten this done for us and into our new home for 2019. Jim and the entire team walked us through every step, and were in constant communication with realtors, attorneys, and ourselves. Just as important... They are good people that care about their clients.

  We found out about Newcastle loans thru our neighbors; from what we knew, they had some issues that prevented them getting approved for their home by any local financial institute. Suddenly, we heard the great news that they were moving, they had purchased a home! From the moment that we contacted Newcastle Loans they started right away! William Chu was very helpful, attentive and responsive to our questions and concerns, not to mention very professional something we really appreciate. He was with us in every step till the end! We are so fortunate to have found Newcastle loans. Strongly recommend to anyone that is thinking of purchasing a home.

  I discovered NewCastle while applying for pre-approvals from various lenders. I found the communication with the big name, online lenders unsatisfying. I was new to the process and so I had questions, and my questions were not being answered to my satisfaction. So I started searching for brick-and-mortar lenders in Chicago and found NewCastle and Jim Quist. I watched some Jim Quist youtube videos and he seemed like a good guy who was professional, knowledgeable and a straight-shooter. He was great, and helped throughout the whole lending process with patience. I had no reservation reaching out to him again for a refi which he recently facilitated. I also had the pleasure of working with some additional NewCastle folks and they all operated with the same level of professionalism.

  We had the pleasure of working with Lee and Jessica at Newcastle Home Loans. We had a few issues with our previous lender and stated working with Newcastle instead, they were able to get us closed in about 16 days! They are a great team and worked really hard on our file to have us close in time. We truly appreciate all that was done and the care that was shown!   Bill Chu was fantastic to work with. He kept my realtor and I up to date and made sure he had everything he needed to get the closing done within 30 days. He also shared with me the lowest rates out of any lender I had come across and personally researched. I cannot be happier and thank him and his team enough.

  Top of the line! Easiest refi in the world. Knowledge is there, technology, cost, etc... Will recommend over n over again to many friends! No reason why you wouldn't use Newcastle for your loan needs! I was a loan officer for a bank for 2 years and this place blows away and bank I worked for or dealt with in the past!!!

  Such an easy and painless mortgage process. The employees and owner are amazing at what they do. They made the entire loan process quick, easy, and painless as opposed to other banks. You know that stress feeling you get when you’re in underwriting and feel as if the loan is going to be declined at any point? Not with new castle! You don’t get that feeling and feel comforted along the way. I strongly recommend this bank. The interest rates at lower than I was expecting as well!

  The most positive thing I can say about this company is (1) responsiveness to concerns (2) attention to detail with complaints. The only thing I can think of that would need improvement is their relationship with banks. At the end of the day, mortgages get sold to lending institutions. You only hope that your loan from NewCastle will end up with a reputable bank, and not with a loan servicing company that is use to dealing with flaky customers. A good-paying customer would be shocked in dealing with under aged, ill-trained employees that have zero attention to detail.

  Thanks for your feedback. To clarify, you’re NOT referring to our employees in the last sentence of your comment. You’re talking about the loan servicer - a different company that sends monthly statements and collects mortgage payments from borrowers after closing. We understand that you want a big bank to service your loan, something we could not provide for your particular financing scenario. But we do partner with several big banks. And if that’s what you want then we’d love another opportunity to earn a 5-star review. To recap - We offered you the best deal and you accepted it. We approved your loan quickly. We even lowered your interest rate before closing. So please contact us next time you need a home loan.
