Navy Federal Credit Union Reviews

Hank Sharpe5I had to do a wire transfer and the online form was pretty confusing. So I stopped here and Emily greeted me in a professional manner. Signed me in and Jason helped me sort it all out. Successfully transferred my funds and I got out in no time. They know what they are doing. Keep up the good work.

Dee Keck4Great staff; always friendly, helpful and capable. Beautiful (relatively new) location and plenty of parking.

Claire Baer1Came into this branch to get added to my husbands account. He came into this branch a week ago and attempted to add me and was told I needed to be there in person with him. So today, I took time off work to be there so I can be added and they have the audacity to tell us they do not have the staffing to do any of that. Apparently she was unsure if any other branch had staffing to assist us with basic needs. Absolute garbage. So we called navy federal and the lovely gentleman on the phone stated he would send us an email with a 3 page form to fill out and could do it online. Obviously the woman at this branch is useless and severly untrained. Will never return.

Mark Burns5Popped in to cash some checks. Fantastic, friendly service. It was fairly busy, but they were staffed appropriately and the wait was minimal. Nice little sitting area too.

Gabby Allen5So I wish I would have gotten the tellers name along with the blonde manager. I had a horrible experience with trying to deposit a check at Union Bank. I have a check from a motorcycle claim where my husband passed away. My ID and account name have my maiden name, however the check has my married name. Well Union Bank wasn't even friendly or professional about letting me know I couldn't deposit it until I changed my ID, even though I had my marriage license and husbands death certificate with my married name. Well I went to Navy Fed today, and they were not only accommodating, but they were so incredibly kind and compassionate about the situation. I truly am thankful I also bank with Navy Federal and can't thank this location enough. Definitely giving this place five stars.

Chris Thorpe1Easily the worst banking experience of my life. I checked in with the receptionist around 4 pm, explaining I was visiting the branch to complete a power of attorney for my spouse who lives in St. Louis MO. After watching numerous customers arrive after me, be seen, then leave before me, I finally asked the receptionist if she had mistakenly forgot to sign me in. She assured me that that was not the case and asked me to sit back down. Around 5:30 pm I was finally seen, but could not proceed with the power of attorney paper work because I didn’t have a copy of my wife’s drivers license. I admit that I did not have the vital documents, but that fact could have been identified an hour and a half earlier when I first checked in with the receptionist. Why else is the position staffed?

Josh Schneider2What a dyspeptic and grumpy teller at this bank. When asked for a counter deposit slip, the response from the her was a barked "We aren't doing that!". Depositing a check for a friend who cannot leave home for health reasons was met with an inquisition and suspicion usually reserved for interactions with Russian and German bureaucrats. There are very few reasons to go to a bank in-person these days, THE LEAST the management and staff could would be to offer basic levels of courtesy and service. The Pandemic has caused everyone to become a bit sad, but seriously people, get it together. Navy Federal is supposed to be better than the dour and miserable folks staffing the big banks.

Drew Hova5Diana was very helpful considering the circumstances and lack of resources she had at her disposal. She was on door duty and answered my question the best that she could and referred me to a better alternative. I have had nothing but positive experiences banking with Navy Federal and it's nice to see people still being kind and helpful while putting themselves at risk by dealing with the public. 5 🌟 everything!

The T3I am torn. Navy federal use to be my favorite bank, but they have almost become too big for their boots when it comes to customer service levels that has dropped over the past 10 years.

Michaela McCurry5Fired my bank to join my father's credit union and I couldn't be happier. The staff is wonderful, respectful and polite. My issues are always solved so I opened a credit card with them. I feel safe knowing that I have a great team watching over me! I couldn't recommend this team more for everything financial.
