I'm not sure as to why every time I go to the bank I'm not greeted or even a simple hello. What happened to customer service? I've only had unpleasant experiences - I may have to reconsider my banking institution. These type of things really do matter. As of today, October 24, 2019 they have a nice addition to the personnel. I am adding an extra star just because of my experience based on today's service. Keep it up and I'll add stars for each time I come in and get this type of treatment!

I've had nothing but a horrible experience with this company since opening a checking and two savings account with them! Every time I call I get a different response. I don't see why anyone would want to bank with a company like this! I will continue to stay with Bank of America because the customer service I have received from this company has been the bottom of the bottom! For anyone thinking about joining NFCU, I advise that you rethink that decision! If I could have gave them a ZERO rating, I would have!

These people that work here need to show more respect and kindness. They're very rude and unprofessional. I like the bank but I Hate coming inside this bank for anything. Sometimes I feel like slapping the Sh_t out of theses people that work here. The manager needs to be fired!

This is the worst experience with a financial institution I have EVER had. Unfortunately I was not eligible to be a member, so they placed a hold on the account until I could verify my eligibility. Due to the hold, I could not see ANYTHING in my account, available balance, pending transactions, my account number, NOTHING. So Monday, February 1 I go to the bank to speak with a representative, she in turn CLOSES my account before telling me she was in the process of closed it. I asked her whether my payment for my rent had gone through and she stated that it had not so she reopened my account and we decided I would close the account after my next direct deposit went through to allow my job enough time to process the direct deposit to a different account. Saturday, February 6, I have an eviction notice on my door because the echeck for my rent was void. Tuesday, February 19 I receive a disconnection notice from my electric company because the e-check payment for them did not go through as well. So today, February 10, I call the bank to see what we can do and I am basically told they cannot do anything. So not only was my account closed WITHOUT my consent, no one wants to take accountability for the fact that this lady messed up my account COMPLETELY and I am left high and dry with a late fee. Not to mention my credit taking a hit because these payments did not go through. The worst part to me if the fact that I cannot sign into my account to even be able to see what is going on and whether or not my transactions are going through. Word to the wise, if you open an account with them, you better have an account open elsewhere as well!

They give you the impression that they cater to the Armed Forces that defend this country. I tried to apply for debt consolidation loan to reduce my monthly payments (I've NEVER been late with a payment ever) and was shot down like any other money hungry bank, saying I didn't meet their criteria. Admit, I don't have the best credit in the world after filing bankruptcy 2 years ago. But I always pay my bills on time since. I sure would like to select who I protect when I put my life on the line.......Maybe they would NOT meet MY criteria. Sadly, this bank is just another SCAM to get your membership money and then shoot you down for any service! They should be banned from advertising that they are military friendly!!! What a joke!!!

Do not go here. They like to close early. Needed to have a card made, they closed lobby early and would not let me get done. Don't waste your time here. Do not see Alexis Clare, she was very snide saying its 5 by their clock. When I was in line for already 5 minutes after trying to get inside. (10 minutes early is still closing early). Went out of my way to come here for nothing. Will be closing accounts for myself, my wife, my mother and father in law as well as their mother and fathers. Totally in 8 accounts closed. For their lack of not wanting to work. Shame.

Recently joined NFCU two weeks ago. Have received nothing but outstanding service. Was able to set up my online account and make a deposit before I received my debit card. Moreover, I have always got a live person every time I've called Even at 3am.

Awesome Bank! I have a Chase account and a Wells account. I just recently became a member with Navy Federal. They are, by far, the best bank I have ever worked with. Within 48 hours of becoming a member, I have refinanced my car with them and was approved for a credit card without ever leaving my house. The bankers are the friendliest I have ever encountered. I'll be closing one of my other account and utilizing NFCU for a majority of my financing needs!!

My business partner and I went in to NFCU in Garland today to open up a business account. The business rep that helped us was Fernando Armendariz and we're are BEYOND HAPPY with his service! This type of account has the ability the be a pain and difficult to open because of all of the documents required but he made it extremely pain free, easy and not stressful at all!! He was very knowledgeable about every single step along the process and very patiently answered all of our questions in a very simple way for us to be able to comprehend (it all sounded like a different language at first)! So glad Fernando was able to help us! Highly recommend him and i'm going to recommend him to everyone in need of this service. Outstanding Job!

Absolute worst experience i have ever had with a bank everybody i talk to acts like your an inconvenience for them to assist when its their job to help you. On top of that i cant even get anything done over the phone i have to have my wife call because when they opened the account they got my birth date wrong and after literally filling out a correction form 7 times its still not fixed. Their staff is terrible their service is crap and i warn anyone who is considering using this bank. Go with Chase never had a problem Chase wasn't willing to help with!
