Dr. Shane Semegon5Highly recommend! They have a great team and great rates. They had the best auto loan rates in town. Any time I have questions they are very helpful and responsive. Thank you My Healthcare Federal Credit Union!

Jeremy Oligney1Worst bank I have ever had or dealt with. Was turned on to them as they were the bank associated with my previous employer. They don't care about the customer just your money. They will charge you for fees for everything. Had fraud on my account with cost me over $1100 in overdraft fees, bank said they wouldn't do anything to help me. Wouldn't work with me at all. Had a truck loan through them and they charged me over $10,000 for insurance because they said my truck didn't have insurance. My truck had the same insurance on it since the day I bought it. It wasn't until I told them they could come get the truck that they admitted to their error and reversed the charges. Stay away from this bank... They are not a credit union and they are not a good place to put your money... Unless maybe your rich.
Response from the ownerHello Mr. Oligney, Please accept my apologies for the troubles you had with our credit union several years ago. We do always try to work with our members to ensure that they are treated in a professional and caring manner and I am sorry that you feel that wasn't the case. I realize this occurred several years ago, which is before I was employed by the credit union, but if you would like to discuss this issue, please feel free to contact me at (352) 333-4760. Sincerely, Eric Nystrom President / CEO

Alberto perotti (Entrenador de Caballos)1This is another financial institution that are only willing to help the wealthiest not the one's who are living check by check. So if you are one of many who live check by check and are trying to do the right thing stay away from My Healthcare federal credit union. I always was wondering why the bank is empty everytime that I visited. Today I got the answer. I'm banking with them for more than a year never late on my payments and was denied for a very small loan. The reason was that I need to pay some collection account that is showing in my credit report. Well does collection account was in my credit report when I open the account and they refinance my truck a year ago. I couldn't believe it. Do yourself a favor stay away.....
Response from the ownerMr. Perotti, I am sorry that you feel that we are only interested in our wealthy members and I don't know what we did to make you feel that way. That is certainly not the way that we strive to do business. I would be glad to further this discussion if you would like to contact me at (352) 333-4760 and ask for Eric Nystrom.

Genesis Alvarez1This is not so much a review of the bank itself but rather their card company. I have a debit card with this bank and this past year I was going out of the country. I called the bank and the card company (they're seperate) and told them I would be out of the country, when I was in that other country I was not able to use it. I even called while I was abroad about this issue and was not able to use it even once when I was there. You have to call both the bank and the card company EVERY TIME YOU GO OUT OF TOWN. Even when I tried to use my card in Ft. Lauderdale I couldn't use it. Right now I'm so frustrated because I'm going abroad again and I'm leaving for Miami so I tried to purchase a ticket and the company's website kept saying it was declined. Based on my previous experience, I called the card company to tell them that it was me trying to purchase it and they told me it had gone through 3x (because I tried it 3x) and that once they take that money out of my account, I should call them back. Days later I check my account and the bus company NEVER CHARGED ME. I have only a few days before I leave and when I call the bus company they tell me it never went through and they don't have ANY seats available. IF YOU'RE EVER PLANNING ON EVEN VISITING ANOTHER CITY, DON'T USE THIS BANK.
Response from the ownerDear Ms. Alvarez, On behalf of My Healthcare Federal Credit Union; I apologize for the issues that befell you when you were traveling with our debit card. I would ask that you please reach out to me directly at the credit union, so that I can ask some additional questions to get to the bottom of what occurred when you tried to use your card when you were out of the country. As it related to the bus travel incident, each time you attempted to purchase your ticket, the transaction made it all the way to the credit union and was approved for the transaction. For some reason, the bus company wasn't able to complete the reservation, which is why your account was never debited for the cost of the bus fare. The credit union actually did provide an acceptance of the request to purchase, but after you had attempted the same transaction 3X, your card would have automatically been restricted due to potential fraudulent access. Sadly, this is standard protocol and it is designed to protect our members from having their accounts accessed by someone other than the cardholder. Regardless of the reason your purchase was denied, we feel very badly that you have experienced two very negative circumstances when trying to travel and utilizing our debit card and will do all we can to ensure that nothing like that happens again. Sincerely, Eric Nystrom President / CEO My Healthcare FCU

Ant Digo1These people are cons and rude, go to vystar. Worst credit union in Florida. Taking money out your account with no notification, I was actually hung up on by a rude employee there. Had surgery and was out of work for a bit they would even word with me to keep all payment current. I could go on and on about this terrible bank just stay away!!!!!!!
Response from the ownerMr. Kali, I am sorry that you feel you were treated poorly and rudely by a member of our staff. That is certainly not the way that we strive to do business. I would be glad to further this discussion if you would like to contact me at (352) 333-4760 and ask for Eric Nystrom. Respectfully, Eric Nystrom President / CEO

Nate S.1This place is a greedy bank disguised as a credit union. I’ve been a member with this place as it has changed hands and locations. The location now is inconvenient. Also, $15 for a replacement card is unreasonable and the final straw thru multiple issues here. I’m leaving it ASAP.
Response from the ownerGood afternoon Nate, My name is Eric Nystrom and I am the CEO at My Healthcare FCU. I am sorry that you are unhappy with the service that you have received at the credit union. While I am not familiar with your case; I would be happy to speak with you regarding your concerns. Please reach out to me either by telephone (352) 333-4760, or email: [email protected] and I will gladly discuss is with you further in hopes of being able to come to a better understanding of your dissatisfaction with our services. I thank you for your long membership with our credit union and I hope that we'll be able to come to a positive outcome for you. Sincerely, Eric Nystrom

Lisa Ford3Great staff however they hold your direct deposit paycheck for days!!!!! It is so frustrating! Especially since I have banked with them for years! I know they do it so they can charge fees, which they are notorious for.
Response from the ownerGood morning Lisa, My name is Eric Nystrom and I am the CEO at My Healthcare FCU. I am sorry that you are frustrated with the availability of your direct deposit and have researched your account over the previous 6 months. I cannot find any instance where the availability of your Direct Deposit was delayed. Do you have any particular deposits that you are concerned with? It is our policy to make direct deposit paychecks available on the date that your employer tells us to deposit them, which during the previous 6 months, occurred exactly on the dates they were deposited. I did notice one anomaly with your most recent direct deposit, but after reviewing the data that we received from your employer through the Federal Reserve, it was accurately deposited. You may wish to consult your employer in regards to this issue. Again, I thank you for your long membership with our credit union and am available to answer any questions you have regarding your account.

BIG POPPA1This is the worst credit union on the planet. They take money from your account in error then close your account because the money them erroneously took caused you to overdraft....AND they do this at 5:59 of holiday weekend. BEWARE THIS INSTITUTION!!!!!
Response from the ownerGood afternoon, I'm sorry that you feel we treated you so poorly, that certainly isn't what we strive to do at our credit union. I realize that this review is several years old and I wasn't employed by the credit union at that time, but I would be happy to discuss this issue, or others you may have if you'd like. Please contact me at (352) 333-4760 to discuss. Sincerely, Eric Nystrom President / CEO

D Q1Beware!!! No notification of Dormant Fee. Have always gotten notification. They said they changed their policy. Asked to reconsider...No. said thinking of changing polucy back. Clised account....said they didnt get everything...delay...delay...delay. They charged 3 months dormant fee b4 i finally got my check. UNSCRUPULOUS
Response from the ownerHello, I'm sorry that you didn't receive any notification of the dormancy fee prior to it being charged. As that is our typical practice, I cannot explain why you weren't notified. Though I was not employed by the credit union at the time of your complaint; I'd be happy to discuss this matter with you if you are willing. You can reach me at (352) 333-4760. Sincerely, Eric Nystrom President / CEO
