      I was buying a car from a local dealer who sold me a service contract warranty for my new car. When I went in to get the loan they offered me a service contract at a better price. So I took it, but when I read the fine print after the sale I discovered it didn’t cover as much stuff as the contract I was getting from the local dealer. I wish I had paid the extra $300 for the local dealers warranty because now I have one that isn’t worth jack squat and won’t cover anything expensive other than the engine.

      Tellers were great!! The banker, not so much!! I was attempting to open a joint checking account with my boyfriend and I explained that I needed to get a debit card today. He was insistent on us applying for a credit card, so we did and were approved. However, the credit application delayed the processing of our account and as a result would receive the debit card a week later. We needed it today!!!! (To pay rent, bills, etc. We both work 7 days per week and came in when we could, but we’re were not accommodated!!!

      It’s always closed saturdays why?? I got here at 12 and it says it closes at 2 but the front doors are closed can someone explain why😢

      I was having a really bad day the other day and to top it off the ATM ate my debit card and as I was waiting in line in drive thru to see a teller feeling frustrated and overwhelmed with everything going wrong that day I saw the sign they had posted on the side of the drive thru and it read this " Keep Your face always towards the sunshine, and shadows will fall behind you ". Thank You Mountain America for your words of Inspiration and encouragement

      I wasn't even a member and Mountain America did more to help me than the credit union I am using. Needless to say I will be joining M.A. and dropping my current credit union immediately.

      I went in with my husband to re-finance his car loan and Jocelyn helped us out. She didn’t even have good customer service, took our information didn’t give my husband any options if He wanted a credit card there or an account through them. Just very unprofessional. I would never recommend her. If I could I would give her 0 star Too bad Google is nice if enough to give 1 star haha.

      The Rose Park branch is smaller than most and it is very busy. At times I have had long waits. But they are great!!!! I love the caring and compassion. The individualize attention. I always feel welcomed. They have helped with many different issues. At this point I have brought 6 new member here. Love this branch where them make you feel at home!!

      I’m normally not the type of person to write reviews especially not bad ones. My experience with MACU has been exceptional but recently the banker who I have been dealing with, Wendy, makes me not want to go to the branch. In October I applied for an auto loan and everything went great she even gave me amazing news that over $2,000 had been put into my account because my vehicle had great book value. Amazing news yes, until I find out that was the money that was supposed to have been used for my Gap Insurance, Extended Warranty and Single Life Insurance for my auto policy. It wasn’t until I had to make a claim and had already spent the money. I decided people make mistakes and she’s probably new so didn’t make a deal about it. I didn’t go to the branch since, until a week ago when I had to have her help me again. I needed a credit increase. She acted like it wasn’t necessary. She told me increasing my credit line wouldn’t help boost my credit more. I said I needed it anyway so she went ahead and did it. The whole time I felt like she felt obligated. Well I asked for a $2,000 credit increased and she only submitted it for $500. I was so fed up that day because I had already been waiting for 2 hours to talk to someone, which is understandable because it was the day after Labor Day and it was busy, but I didn’t have the energy to re-do the whole thing. So I went back today and unfortunately I had to talk to her again. I could tell from the beginning she didn’t care to help me. I said Hi that I had been there a week ago but I needed a higher increase and kindly asked her if she could help me with that. She told me she didn’t think I could get another one but I guess it didn’t hurt to try. So she did the application and came back to tell me they approved it but “just to let you know you won’t be eligible for another increase in 6 months” ok understandable, just sounded like she was fed up and rude when she told me but I either way I have great credit, money in the bank and have been banking with MACU for about 10 years so I’m sure if I went back and requested more I’m 100% they won’t deny it. I’m not the only one who has had a bad with her, my dad and brother went in a few months ago and tried to get an auto loan and she declined them when my dad has an 850 credit score and my brother 750 the only downside was my brother was a first time buyer but had more than 5 credit lines opened for a few years after they got denied they decided to go through University Credit Union, my brother got approved right way with the lowest I retest rate all by himself. My point here is she needs a lot more training not only when it comes to the system but most importantly in customer service! I had to say it!
