  Went in to refinance my car. Frank was incredibly helpful! He did everything he could to get me a lower interest rate and a shorter term! He had all the answers to all the silly little questions I had and was very personable. 11/10 recommend MACU over any other bank or credit union, but this branch, and Frank specifically, went above and beyond to get me what I needed.

  Angelica A. is so awesome!!! I had a terrible experience at the Layton location so I decided to go to the Kaysville one and Angelica was so helpful and reached out to me when anything changed or she had any updates! So it was no surprise when I needed help again she was the one I went to and like before she was AWESOME AND SO HELPFUL!!! I absolutely will recommend her!! Thank you for everything you do Angelica

  Disappointing account 'protections'. While customer service workers for this institution are fantastic, this bank, in itself is extremely disappointing. I can not recommend working with this credit union. For example: we were on vacation and in need of last-minute funds. Some of this money was stolen while under the guise of a 'cancelled transaction' at an ATM. 'Stupid Taxes', I get it. The reps on the phone were great and spoke with confidence that the bank would correct the problem. BUT ultimately they came back to us TWO MONTHS LATER and cancelled the credit they had given us to counteract the fraud. Their response was essentially, 'Sorry...how sorry it is to be you...' For an institution that makes grand claims of keeping your money safe, they bailed on that promise awfully quickly.

  Angelica A. helped me set up my first loan ever, and made the process so easy. She was super clear and great at explaining everything, and made my life so much easier by getting a loan that worked for me and my financial situation. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking into getting a loan!

  I have a different C.U. but the nearest branch is 12 miles away. These Tellers are great. They see me almost every day & always have a great p treat for my pup. When I can I'm going to change my credit union to these people.

  MACU was fantastic to work with on a HELOC we just finished with them. After wasting several months jumping through hoops with our bank, we decided to try with MA and they were great! The staff was nice, professional, and they had it closed in a couple of weeks. It was the best financial experience we've had; so much so, that we have switch to MA for all of our banking needs.

  They have misleading promotions. Such as $150 birthday present. No where does it say what you have to do other than "click" setup new checking account. Then that doesn't work. You go in and the Kaysville branch manager spars over wording of AND and fine print found deep within the process rather than it not being on the email alone. That is misleading. Kinda funny, their overall service lacks other local credit unions.

  I have enjoyed all of my experiences at the various Mountain America Branches. But I have to say the Kaysville branch treats its customers above and beyond the call of duty. I am always greeted when I walk in the door. The lobby has a desk and table if I need to gather paperwork. Today Denise and Kyle helped me with a name and address problem I had with one of my accounts and they gave me non-stop attention until we had all resolved. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work!
