Bruce Edmund5Last week I had a serious security concern regarding an account. I tried to work it out online but, due to the amount of time I had to wait, I went to the branch on 90th South and 2200 West that I use to see if I could get help. No sooner than walking through the door I was greeted by Noah Whiting who asked if he could help me. And help he did! After explaining my concerns he immediately went to work to check everything out and working with a counterpart online. In short, I was able to walk out a while later with a great deal of confidence that all was well. I just wanted to make sure that Mr. Whiting received recognition and a huge thanks for doing all that he did to help me. Kudos to the person(s) who hired him. Thanks Noah!

B B5Mountain America has been hit or miss for us. Sometimes the customer service is good sometimes its terrible. However Noah, at this branch is by far the best employee we have ever worked with. And I've worked with A LOT of them. We have 4 business accounts with you. Had multiple loans through you. And i've never been so impressed with the customer service he provided. He was working at a different branch on Saturday when they were slammed, customers were being ridiculous, and rude, yet Noah was so happy and helpful. He helped us get our loan, which has been a breeze. He's extremely attentive, checked up on us multiple times, and very knowledge. He is hands down the best employee that works for Mountain America.

Tu'utanga Sandy1I came into this branch to break 200 into dollar bills. I thought I could place my pin with the teller to withdraw asked for ID. Thats fine, I forgot my id so I went outside to the ATM and came back in line. Only to be told they are short 1 dollar bills. You're a financial institution, Im sorry I was an inconvenience to ask for 1 dollar bills and 'you will be short of 1 dollar bills' for the next work week. That was her excuse when the previous teller said he could help me. You're in the business of helping people take care of their money yet you have no customer service skills. Blatantly refused to help me, and said I should go to another branch. If you can not handle face to face interactions with customers you should not be working in a bank. I am a brand new customer to Mountqain America and I really want to close my account and move to another institution. I went to my branch on 106 and they are always ready to help and smiling. They make me want to stay with Mountin America. Although this branch is closer to my home I definitely will not be setting foot in your branch again.

Rianna Gurr1Mountain america has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Spend an hour on the phone w then to do anything; change account details, order new cards, cancel cards, etc., and the updates will not be made. You will have to call at least 4 different times before your equest is actually put in. This results in payments being declined and you are charged extra fees for it. Scammers.

LaShawna Munoz5I went into this MACU branch to go open a loan for a vehicle. I walked out of there not only having taken care of the vehicle loan I initially went in for, but Hadley helped my dad with his car loan as well. She was super knowledgeable & so kind. She even helped us after the fact with all the little ends that needed tying up. She went above & beyond in so many ways.

Katie Secord5I applied for a personal loan to consolidate some of my debt and refinanced my car recently with mt. America. I was extremely pleased at how quickly and efficiently the process was. The representative stayed in constant contact with me and walked me through every step of the process. Being an in person teacher and having a pandemic to contend with, I was pleased that 99% of the process was able to be handled through email and the phone. Great company. Everyone I interacted with was professional and competent. I highly recommend them for all your banking needs!

ronald gago1Extremely slow service when waiting for a new card to be made. Extremely long wait to be helped. Was told to take a seat to wait for card. (Which prints immediately). Took twenty minutes to get the card to me. It was wrong. Another person told me to have a seat and she would be with me soon. Another 20 minutes I got frustrated and went up to the teller to have another card made which then was handed to me in one minute. Altogether one hour to get one card made. I’m Disappointed.

Bryce Webb5I came in to open a new account. I just moved in from another state. The person who helped me was so pleasant and nice! He not only helped me open an account, he also introduced me to a new Certificate of Deposit opportunity I took advantage of. Then just when I thought we were finished, he asked me about my car loan. He was able to refinance my car right there, AND saved me money on my car payment! He was fantastic! The only thing he wasn't able to help me with was finding a wife. But... I suppose there are some things you just have to do for yourself. I would (and will) recommend Mountain America to anyone I can! Thank You!

Janet Lee1I wanted to open an account with a credit union near my home, so I went into Mountain America in West Jordan on 2200 W. I had with me a check for $65,000, from a different credit union, to open the account. The employees of this Mountain America couldn’t have cared less about opening an account for me or getting my business. The manager said I’d have to wait a least an hour for someone to assist me. I was given the impression that I was bothering them. So I took my business down the street, and they were very helpful and courteous and happy to get my business. I think I’ll be very happy there.
