  Somewhere around a couple months ago, I saw an email from Lending Tree that indicated I could save lots of money by refinancing my home loans. Being that I had a 7 year, 5% note from a local bank, I figured what the heck, I'll see what possibilities exist to lock in a lower rate and give me an extended, reduced payment plan. After filling out the form on my iPhone, in a matter of minutes I received several calls, the first from Patrik at Diablo. Naturally, I had never heard of Diablo but proceeded to provide some of the background data to Patrik. After that introduction, and completing the phone conversation, I proceeded to the next calls, from places like Loan Depot, Quicken Loans, and one other from a Colorado Lender. As the days and weeks went by, I had follow ups from the other lenders who had called, in some cases getting multiple calls from the same lender as my name was passed along to different individuals at the lender. Suffice to say that along the way, those lenders eventually turned me down But Patrik stayed with me. His comment was "I do 50-100 loans a month and I will tell you if it just won't work". , Patrik then had Eileen get in touch with me, That point in time started a whirlwind level of activity with Eileen doing her MAGIC to get discussions and efforts going with a prospective mortgage company, and to get an ongoing dialogue with the underwriter in place I'd best describe Eileen as relentless, very personable, and no matter how busy working on other customers she was always willing to address my questions, especially as the underwriter became involved and kept asking for more and more details on my financial life. The underwriter process to me was painful, but Eileen was ALWAYS there for me. We (i.e., with Eileen) finally achieved underwriter approval after arduous efforts on both of our parts. And the closing on our loan occurred in mid March Two months ago I had never heard of Diablo Lending. I was certain that places like Quicken or Loan Depot would be more likely to help me then an unknown lender in California. Man, was I wrong! A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL AT DIABLO LENDING!

  Exceptional, prompt and responsive service. We closed our refinance in three weeks. Rate quoted at initial call with Ramon was rate we closed with. Eileen - you are terrific. Well done job! Very happy with their professionalism.

  Definitely a great experience and I would certainly work with them again! The communication was fantastic, everything was well organized, and though we hit hurdles (as you do in any mortgage process), the processor was INCREDIBLE at sharing in any frustrations but more importantly helping to come up with quick solutions to bring the loan to a close!

  These db's cannot even answer some simple questions about loans when they were the ones calling me. DON'T waste your time because they have $15/hr workers calling who don't know a thing about loan and then they try to negotiate terms that they have no idea what and how it will impact your situation.

  Go to Terra Mortgage instead..... I get spam calls and emails from these people at Dianblo Lending and have asked repeatedly to be removed. I then received an email from Diane Lebajo and asked to be removed from the database and inquired how/where they purchased my info. No reply. I would like to know where my info is so I can try to go to the source to remove it. Now in get one call a day some weeks and no one is removing me. I try blocking calls but they call from different numbers. I would avoid these people on principal just based on the fact that they DO NOT Respect your privacy or your wishes to not receive calls from them. They also outsource calls which isn't that strange these days but feels impersonal. Use Terra Mortgage instead. Scott Hellar was amazing and I loved the experience of buying a home through them.
