  I have been working with Mortgages Unlimited and Barb Gurney since November 2018. Barb has been nothing short of amazing and supportive through this entire process! Financial advise, home advise, and always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. I couldn't ask for a better mortgage specialist. I was finally able to purchase my home in September of 2019 and make my dream of home-ownership come true!

  This is the first time I worked with Mortgages Unlimited, and my friend recommended Issac to help me do the refinance.   I've had the pleasure of working with the Furlong Team twice now on new mortgages, once when purchasing a new home several years ago and more recently, refinancing to take advantage of lower interest rates. Their application process is simple. I was able to use their secure web portal to upload documents and was notified of progress and new action items as they arose. They even arranged to have our most recent loan closing at an out of state location as we had pre-existing travel plans with family that could not be changed. Steve was knowledgeable and provided me with several loan options best suited for my family's situation. He was also quick to return phone calls and emails when I had questions. I'd highly recommend working with the Furlong Team for your next mortgage.

  Steve Furlong and his team provided not only excellent service dealing with my rental properties and my home - he corrected an issue with my original personal home mortgage that TWO other mortgage companies did not even realize. We were living in a side by side duplex but in talking to Steve - with his expert knowledge of homes - informed us that we were in a split home. This enabled us to handle the other side as a separate home - this was a tremendous benefit. His team kept us on track and prodded me gently when I was slow to respond with documents. He guided us well in cash out efforts. As long as I live in MN, I will NEVER consider another mortgage company for my personal and rental properties. I have had several previous mortgages and worked with good companies and banks. Steve's experience and service exceeded the previous efforts in ways I could have never imagined!

  Thank you David. Sometimes property details can get confusing. When we have unique situations we slow down, gather as much information we can, and then work with the homeowner to devise the best solution. I'm glad we were able to correct this previous issue and eliminate any hassles you would have had when the day comes to sell one or both of the properties.

  Mortgages Unlimited is a quality company to work with. Steve and his team understand the process and take the time to explain it to you. It seems others assume you know or are not interested enough to ask questions. Steve let's you know right up front. He is someone I would recommend to anyone!

  As a busy Realtor I need a mortgage professional I, and my clients, can count on. Steve Furlong is always timely in providing information, qualifying my clients, or closing deals. Steve is very professional but understands buyers' needs as well. I am approached weekly by other mortgage providers. I simply tell them I am already working with the best!

  Steve Furlong is very unprofessional. We got stuck working with him for our first mortgage and only stuck it out because we didn’t know any better. We called recently to get some information on our loan and he was nice enough to give us part of it. Then he asked if he could represent us. When we declined because we are going through a friend he got upset and pushy. After telling him again no he told us that he was too busy to help us with the information that was already pulled up on his computer and advised us to figure it out. The only my reason he has any good reviews is because they give you a gift if you fill one out!

  Kay helped me with the purchase of my first home. I knew close to nothing about the lending process, and she was there to answer all of my, many, questions thoroughly and promptly. She introduced me to programs I didn't even know existed that will help my financial situation exponentially.   Based on the comment bellow from Nicholas Butler----that complained about Steve . I actually Edited this message after reading Nicholas Butler's post. I personally actually wrote this message because I think Steve did a great job. I' am happy with the outcome. In fact, it exceeded my expectation. In addition, I didn't even know they gave us a gift for doing so, whether they do or don't my gift is having a home and the right loan for me and my family. You shouldn't be frustrated, what do you expect. I believe that Steve have the right connections! I learned that the more connection the person who helps you have, the better chance you have at finding a home and the best deal you'll find. Steve has that connection! If you want to have a lower rate than expected or at most as expected then Steve's team is the team! Very educational! I actually learned a lot about loans because of what he gave me! He re-directed me to the right person and gave me the right information I needed when I asked a question!
