  Clay and his team delivered a perfect experience for our home purchase, especially considering the challenges of COVID-19. Rather than meeting in person, we started with a long conference call, where my wife and I asked Clay every question we could think of. Clay was friendly and personable, and answered every question we had with ease. Once we began the qualification process, his team was on top of all of the document requests and follow-up questions. After that, Clay sent us links to a very useful tool that detailed all of our options, and how each would impact our closing costs and monthly payments. He even included personal video messages to help explain things that were more complex. We had zero bumps in our journey, and closed successfully without a hitch. All in all, Clay and team were attentive and detail-oriented, and made sure we had all the information we needed to make informed decisions, and the transaction could not have been smoother.

  My husband and I had an amazing experience with Clay Carroll and his team at Main Street Home Loans. We recently ended a year-long "marathon" of simultaneously selling our condo in one state and doing a house search in the Richmond, Virginia area. We were introduced to Clay through our Virginia realtor whom we met online. From the very beginning, it was a successful collaboration. Clay and his team were extremely professional, transparent and supportive as my husband and I traversed this sometimes wonky world of selling and buying real estate.
