  Just as important as choosing a mortgage company is the decision of the correct branch. Darren and the Mortgage Solutions branch on Vinewood handled our mortgage with honesty and integrity. Darren was competent, transparent, and straight forward throughout the entire process. We never questioned what was happening and we were confident that our loan would be closed on time. Darren genuinely cares about his clients and his work speaks for itself.

  a minute agoNEW We closed on our home 6 months ago, so I have had time to sit and think about my experience. I also have recently began taking courses that are enlightening me a lot on the processes done on the back end of buying a home. As a consumer; If I could buy a home again, I think I would choose a different lender. Our rates were great at less than 3%, BUT the process made it an overall poor experience. The rates were contingent on us completing courses on owning a home; which would have been fine but none of this was explained to us up front. (We were experiencing a loss in the family and likely would have opted for the higher lending rates rather than taking those courses at that time. The options were never presented.) The interactions with our loan officer, Armondo, were always confrontational. I believe this is because he was getting pressure from us and our realtor simultaneously and he was becoming frustrated. Due to an error on his end with properly filling out forms, our closing was postponed a couple different times. On the final day of closing he was unavailable to correct yet another error on his forms; which a supervisor eventually stepped in and assisted with. There was a lot of implications on what I should have known, and being a first time homebuyer, we just didn't. There was even a few points in time that the origins of our finances were questioned as legitimate even after I had supplied documentation as to their origins....almost as if he had lost the documents or not looked at them closely enough initially, later determining they're not sufficient. I didn't feel extremely valued as a client or a human being. The entire process was effective in that I now own a home I pay a mortgage on....but I definitely wanted out multiple times before we closed.

  Great experience in applying for our home loan. Everything went smoothly and loan officer Linda Jackson went above and beyond to answer our questions and guide us through the process. Got a competitive rate as well.

  Knowledgeable & got bunches of fees waived... Out of 4 lenders, I know this is true, because they were all offering about the same "deal"...but Linda Jackson beat their monthly payments by $250 a month!!! Kudos & THANK YOU LINDA!!!

  Miss Linda Jackson went about and beyond to help me I thought it was hopeless but when see told me that is possible it gave me hope that maybe things was not that bad the fear went away and the joy started flowing so happy I went to talk to her she changed my family's life thanks to miss Jackson
