  Jeff is awesome! We were a distance away and looking for a nice acoustic guitar for my daughter. Jeff emailed pics of his inventory, answered questions, and even gave me a ballpark on items that I had to trade. This place is great...very good customer service.

  I purchased an xbox 360 for my baby. He had a surgery which stopped him for being able to play on it. the system costed $50.00 which is good for A five year old. The return time is only three days, and due to a medical issue I was three days short. The system DOES NOT WORK! IT KEEPS GIVING AN ERROR MESSAGE that it has too much content on it but nothing is downloaded. My baby was so hurt!!! Ill be buying all of my devices from walmart from now on. I just GAVE $50.00 to these ppl for nothing. I am a single mother providing on my own. Shame on you!!!!!

  Hi Jessie, I am sorry you had an issue with the Xbox 360. If you would like to come by I can see if we can fix the problem or replace the Xbox console for you. We test all game console before with take them in on pawn or purchase them, and before we put them out for sale. We try hard not to sell faulty and/or broken items.

  I’m from out of state working in the KCMO area for the last five years. I’ve used the pawnshop a few times since here working. I got called to Texas before o could get my pawn out.   This is the second time we have had something of value to pawn. The first time was a gold coin and this time it was jewelry. In both cases we searched multiple places and Mission Pawn always gives us the most best offer for our items. They also have a very friendly and helpful staff. They have earned our trust as the only pawn store we will do business with from now on.

  Have used these folks for many years. They are busy, because they are the best. So, patience works here. It is first come first serve. Any yes, if you are just a lookie lou and keep coming back you may get minimum service. They know who buys and who does not. The collectable side of the shop expects you to be a knowledgeable buyer, if you want to look at the coins prior to buying, ask. My young sons buy jewelry for their Mom often, and the staff always have time for them. They will work with you on your purchases for as long as needed, but do not waste their time. In short --- stop whining. If not go to Nieman Marcus to have that "more personal experience".

  I've been buying, selling, pawning tools and coins there going back before they moved to Martway; which HAS to be nearly 40 years now. They learn what you want, who you are, and I've even received Post Cards when a loan was coming due. There's nobody who has as knowledgeable a staff as they. And with most of my experience being "coins", they pay the days fair market price every time.

  By far the worst pawn shop I have ever used. Most of the time they won't take good name brand tools. I have pawned here around 20 times even tho not liking the place. Thus being due to it being close to my home. 3 of those times I was helped by females. Those are the only 3 times I felt like it was an enjoyable experience. Go to alpha in olathe or lil joes on state
