  Academy Bank in Fairway KS... Academy offers different accounts to fit anyone's needs. Staff is well versed on available services and amenities for new and existing customers; and those options were presented professionally but still personable. The employees energetically serviced every customer with a smile and remembered their repeat customers by face and name. Academy also offers video banking with extended hours on weeknights and weekends so you can bank when convenient for you and still have a representative available to assist. Thank you Academy for meeting my banking needs. And a special thank you to Lauren R. at the Fairway branch. You work very hard and make it look effortless. I wish you the best in all your future endeavors.

  I’ve visited this branch for a basic banking transactions. It is a bit of a turn off to send me to a kiosk when I’m the only customer in the branch, two people at their desk with no customers. The kiosk said all video tellers were busy and I needed to wait. I ended up leaving and decided to visit another branch. Don’t lose sight of your customers and customer service Academy.

  I have been banking here for two years personally and for my business. The people here are fantastic and go out of their way to make sure and accommodate myself and other customers I have witnessed their interactions with. Sonya is the real rockstar!

  Terrible customer service. The atm ate the majority of my cash deposit and when I visited to retrieve the missing $$$, the employee in charge laughed and smiled at me sarcastically while I was explaining myself. Was a blonde woman presumably in charge. Still unknown as to if I will get my $$$ back yet left feeling nothing but frustrated. Would love to be taken seriously with an institution whose technical difficulties affects my financial life.

  This place is really cool. Academy bank is welcoming the future and protecting it's employees. The lobby has a meeting room free coffee and an environment you wouldn't have expect in a bank. Very relaxed setting with plenty of comfortable seating. When I first stepped inside I was blown away with what I saw. The people were friendly and went out of their way to help me with some stuff that banks don't usually do.

  Terrible customer service! I received different answers depending on who I talked to. It took a week and way too many hours on the phone, being transferred from one department to another, to finally resolve a funds hold issue. And here's the thing, it never would have been an issue if I had just been given accurate information the first time I asked Jennu whether or not my deposited paycheck would be available immediately. He either lied, or didn't know any better. Either way, it reflects terribly upon the reputation of your institution. The countless employees I spoke to over the phone were no better. I was eventually told that a the branch manager was apparently the only person in he entire world who could solve my problem. Yet, the branch never answered its own phone whenever the main hotline number tried to connect me. I literally had to call a Walmart employee to walk to the branch at the front of the store and ask someone at the branch to call me back. Trying to connect directly to the branch via help from the Academy Bank main toll free number was a waste of time at never worked. I don't understand what's more inept, your employees, or your infrastructure. Either way, you guys seems to have a pretty major problem. The next time you guys want to gain some extra interest on your clients' deposits, just be up front about it. Just tell me that as a private, for-profit, financial institution, that you need an opportunity to earn a little profit with my money before you can justify the added expense of offering me (banking) services. I know the funds were removed from my boss's account days before I was granted access to the funds via my account, so I know that your institution was IN CONTROL OF MY MONEY prior to you releasing it to me. I'm sure you apportioned that money in a way that earned you interest while you held it. You'd have been stupid not to. The big problem is, you were stupid not to tell me. 4+ hours on the phone, spread out over 7 days, never to really receive a full, coherent answer from anybody, is truly unacceptable. I happily closed my account. I will take my money elsewhere. I recommend anyone reading this do the same!
