Midfirst Bank is one of the best and the ASU branch is just as wonderful as my home location. Just a few pictures to view for everyone, didn't want to go off on the montage. Jordan is extremely helpful and pleasant. Quick, efficient also a student with the capacity of moving up the fast so stop on in and say hello while you can. Parking is a challenge in the area and that is expected. ATM's loaded throughout Tempe so take advantage of them if you don't need to visit a branch location. So much art in the area I suggest that if you need to go give yourself plenty of time to explore and experience the campus for yourself. Thanks for the assistance and take care. It was my pleasure meeting you all and getting to say good morning.

I made an appointment to open an account as it was recommended by the new student advisor. I arrived on time and after filling out a short application, I was told to wait and they would be with me in a few minutes. They had me waiting for 58 minutes. It's very irritating to have to sit and watch other customers being served while I'm sitting on a hard bench for almost an hour. I don't mean to rant but this is not how you do business. I went back in line and asked for the application back and chucked in the trash. I understand this is a small branch on a college campus but that's just ridiculous behavior.

The worst customer service ever and under-trained employees. Whenever I go there I call in advance for an appointment and I end up staying there for half an hr. Then it takes another half an hr for training of the new employee.

Great staff. Though they seem to be understaffed. I wanted to make a new account and the wait was like 2 weeks long to meet with a banker.

I’ve never had a bad experience at this in person location. They’ve helped me numerous times getting my card reactivated and with deposits. The staff is always kind and professional!

Midfirst Bank came to my orientation at ASU university. They offered a $100.00 bonus if you open a bank account with them that day. I spoke with them after the presentation and gave the guy my application. He stated he would come back in a few hours to help me make my initial deposit and get me my bank card. The representative never returned and I had to go days later into the bank at ASU to speak with the manager about why my application was not processed. He apologized several times and said he would make it right. He helped me get my card and stated I would receive more information via email or mail and I never did. I setup direct deposit and waited. They told me I would get the $100.00 a week after and it never came. The lady on the phone said I would get the bonus, I would just need to wait 4 weeks. I waited and still no bonus. I called today and they are refusing to give me the bonus. I advised the manager when I went in to the office I told them I would NOT open this account if I could no longer get this bonus. He clarified several times he would take care of me and not to worry. Midfirst Bank is incredibly disappointing. Taking advantage of college students is not the way to do business. I will be speaking to ASU directly about their conduct. If you're considering this bank just go somewhere else. All the people here care about is metrics and numbers.

Absolutely terrible customer service and online banking services. I have been hung up on after providing the required information to reset my account on one occasion, it only took two hours of my time and four tries calling the online customer service before I spoke to someone with an IQ above 40 who was able to reset my password. I also have been trying to get help from customer service as to why they are charging me service fees for nearly a month now with no solution or even a response. The only people I can get through to are the online customer service representatives who can only reset your online login and nothing else to actually help with banking issues. It is as if a 6 year old developed their online banking/banking app, they have at least 5 different features within the website/app that are non functional. They seem to have a practice of taking advantage of college students by making false promises of sign up bonuses or getting them to sign up for an account then charging them service fees after promising there are no fees with the account. We will see if they refund the numerous service fees I have been charged for no apparent reason and maybe they will get one more star. Very shady company, please do not bank with them.

I’ve been here to open an account at 2 different times. Both times I changed my mind because of how rude the staff are. So disappointing.

      Response from the owner

Our goal is a fantastic customer experience, and we’re sorry you didn’t have one. Please give us a call at 888.643.3477 so we can make that right.
