  We just got our first mortgage statement...so I guess the process is complete??? Wouldn't know because the communication with Jeff and his team was severely lacking. There were some hiccups at the start due to email notifications not being received by their online portal and his 2 voicemails going into my spam filter - I was then met with a fairly rude phone call accusing us of "clogging up his pipeline" if we weren't interested. The online portal was easy to use - but not very customizable and seemed very generic - so we had some back and forth on what exactly was needed from us (which caused more delays). The biggest issue for us came when they made a assumption about the spelling of a name. This caused us to have to re-sign everything and have a notary come out again (after having the first one reschedule 6 times and end up coming to our home after 10pm). People make mistakes - I get it, but Mecklenburg Mortgage took no accountability and did not apologize for the mistake or inconvenience on our part. When questioning them, we got a one sentence email in response. We then noticed that there was an additional $100 fee for the notary to come back out that was initially made for us to pay. They fixed that - but sent no communication to us, and I again had to ask for clarification. Very short reponses, very rude, made us feel like we were not valued as clients. I specifically contacted a local company for the personal service and we were very disappointed with what we got.

  Jeff and Warren have worked with an lightning speed through the entire process.. I am a first time home buyer and they answered all my questions patiently. I got a good deal as well .. I strongly recommend them for mortgage needs.

  Jeff provided outstanding service when it came to our original mortgage and then again with a re-finance. He explains the process very well, easy to talk to and enjoys a good chicken wing like myself! We will continue to use him and would highly recommend him to friends and family, whom already do.

  Jeff's assistance in guiding us through our mortgage process was second to none. Professional and personable, Jeff makes significant effort for his customers in ensuring they get not only the best options but also continual communication and support through the purchase process. We had additional issues around being out of the country during large parts of the closing process and Jeff made himself available to assist us while we were in a completely different time zone. We couldn't have been happier with his efforts, and would recommend him to anybody looking to buy a new home.

  This is the 3rd time I've worked with Jeff at Mecklenburg Mortgage. He helped with our 1st house mortgage. Then he reached out to us to offer a no-brainer deal on a house refinance, lowering our monthly payment and interest rate for basically nothing out of pocket. Recently worked with him on our new house mortgage. He is able to deliver the most competitive rates and closing costs out there, period. He is also quick to closing and very on top of the documentation process. I simply can't speak highly enough of Jeff and Mecklenburg Mortgage!
