As a Real Estate Agent, I appreciated Jason's quick communication and attention to detail as we worked on this transaction together.   Jason was awesome to work with. Super helpful with everything. I couldn't be more pleased to have worked with him. Some of the rest of the team, however, could work on communication with the buyer and with other staff members. Some of the detail work could use improvement when finishing homes, but overall happy with our decision to build with McArthur.

  We were very pleased by the quality of everything in our home and the extras that we weren't expecting like programmable thermostats and child-friendly electrical outlets. The customer service is also top-notch. We worked with Paige, who was very responsive and accommodating with our frequent questions and requests.

  We had a great experience building with them. The only few hiccups we had they took care of immediately. Everyone was great to work with. Especially Paige, Chad and Charis. I would recommend building with McArthur to anyone.

  Every step of the process with McArthur homes has been so pleasant! They are quick to address any concerns and we rarely, if ever had any issues. We love this company and would absolutely build with them again!

  Worst home buying experience ever!!!! They have great floor plans and were really good until we signed the papers and put down our down payment. After that we struggled to get a hold of our contact over at McArthur. We would leave messages and never get a reply. They were late on every deadline they gave us and I still don't know if it would have gotten finished if we constantly weren't calling to find out what the hold up was on every deadline they missed. I understand that McArthur Homes aren't a custom home builder, but I do expect that the promises they make they should keep. I shouldn't have to fight with them only to get told there is nothing they can do to fulfill a promise that was given. DO NOT BUY A HOME FROM MCARTHUR HOMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  McCarthur homes has been unbelievable. We looked at many new and existing homes before we chose to build with McCarthur. They were highly recommended by our realtor who has worked in new construction for years. She was right...their craftsmanship was far above the competitors. Jason Shumway, the McCarthur rep has been so patient as we navigated the home building experience. He even showed up at our closing to help us celebrate the transition. Truly, one of the nicest guys! And Julia McCarthur, from the design center is so eager to make you feel at ease. I consider them both friends and now that we have been in our home for a couple months...I love running into them! West, the superintendent is quick to respond to any issues that may have come up. He was so careful with us at our 4-point walk-through. Then Dean, the Warranty Guy, so attentive. We never felt like we weren't being heard or cared for. We feel like everyone who has worked on our beautiful home has had our best interest at heart. Thank you McCarthur team!!

  My husband and I have had such a positive experience through the whole home building process with McArthur. Everyone we worked with were really helpful and respectful. We couldn't be happier with how our home turned out!

  We love our McArthur Home. It was our first home that we have bought and have learned a lot. They were great to work with us and make changes that needed to be done. We closed on time and are very pleased with what we purchased.
