Kenneth Walker (KDub)4I can't say anything bad about this location, as I could about every other Mazuma I have been in. First it's literally 3 blocks from my downtown apartment. When I have bank business, I usually just hustle down there on foot, because the unpaid parking in the area is bad, especially with the railway on the same street AND the newly built condos right across from Mazuma, which is why I rated it 4 stars. This is supposed to be an in and out location, more free parking should be available. There is a 24 hour ATM right outside and that has been really convenient on many occasions. Inside, I have never really had a long wait to be served and when it's my turn, everything gets done with courtesy, quickness and a smile. I like this spot and use it often.

Deborah Rolfe2I dont have an issue w Mazuma as a whole. But THIS LOCATION BLOWS! Its closest to my home and I bike or walk... The ATM will never allow me to deposit anything... Why is that? My card works at EVERY other ATM on the planet. My account is in good standing (never been ANY issues)... So why? It looks like Im not the only one..

Carey Wolfskill-Bowen1I have been a mazuma member for almost two decades and the opportunity to get a live person on the phone in under 15 minutes is non-existent. Ever since the new locations opened and they got a new KS number, it's nearly impossible to resolve basic banking issues. you can't email, or find a person to handle potential fraudulent activity unless you have time to sit on the phone for 15 minutes before you are able to get someone to discuss your problem. I have heard for the last 3+ years they are working on getting more people, that call volume is high during this time or that time, and now b/c of covid and now b/c of stimulus calls. it's simply untrue. staffing has been an issue for years and they have yet to do anything about it. The lack of any real attempt to value my business is mind boggling. Time to move banks, apparently.

Teesha Miller1I transitioned from a local employer based credit union to Mazuma nearly three years ago and couldn’t be more pleased. The loan products at Mazuma are head and shoulders above the rest. I frequent the midtown (blue parkway) location. The location can be busy at times , however the speed and efficiency with which the tellers move is remarkable. I have witnessed professionalism and patience at its finest. The diverse population this branch serves lends credence to the staffs ability to pivot and customize each members’ service to them individually. Keep up the good work! EDIT:: Clearly things have changed after writing this glowing review a little more than a year ago the service is COMPLETELY opposite of my previous experience. I have three open positive accounts, two loans and a significant line of credit but treated as if I am attending a payday loan establishment. Time to transition to Community America Credit Union completely.

Rye Ledford5Already the best bank I've ever used. From going in to set up an account to using the call center I'm really impressed. Every one has been helpful, knowledgable, and very friendly. The website is great for setting up multiple accounts and setting budgets. Brandon S. had to help me out twice in one day and remembered me the second time.

Chris Blackman1Dumbest ATMs I've ever encountered. They make your insert the card, pull it out, then it yells at you for not leaving your card initially. I have other accounts with the bank. Instead of listing these on the screen, it merely says "other account 1, 2, or 3." They don't return calls or emails (both I've left) for pertinent issues, instead waiting until your issue is almost forgone then they don't even acknowledge that THEY'VE dropped the ball at your expense. The customer service is helpful but not knowledgeable. They should know how to function in a way other than to just pass the buck to another agent as they play "hot potato" while repeatedly transfering customers as the end of the day nears. Then they create more problems when there shouldn't. I had an issue with my account where I hadn't been able to pay on a loan...once able, I realized the ATM card was deactivated. If that's my only way to get money in (bc I work nights), now you've made the issue much more complicated. Can't call bc they only do normal business hours....even more so counterintuitive. Then the alternative method THEY GAVE to get them their money, DOES NOT WORK. They said to use the night deposit bc there wd be envelopes and all to put everything in.... Guess what isn't there? Anything! So now everything is further behind because a simple process now has 80 steps each contingent on the step preceding it...and this has all fallen apart at step 2. Nothing is as they say with them....But I'm sure somehow this is my fault. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy they even allowed me the loan but come on! Why are YOU making it so hard to get YOUR MONEY back to YOU!?

Asia Monique2This location always busy. No matter how early you get there, there's always a line already forming at the door before they open in the morning. The customer service has been good but every now and then there'll be a teller with an attitude, rushing to get you out of there. On top of that, they always have only two tellers! If you're in a hurry, don't come here! You'll spend 20+ minutes waiting in line. If you have time to waste, come on in. Other than that, I'd rather drive across town to the other Mazuma.

Kerry McWhorter1Everything is difficult. Noone wants to help and they say someone will call you back but they don't. Switched to a different bank. It's ok for 6 different employees to have my social but they won't give me my account number to pay off a loan. Been trying for a week to pay off final account and they have refused wire transfer. And have to reset password almost everytime I try to log in online.
