  Writing this review for my mother. But Chad took her paperwork for her 2021 taxes and never filed her taxes. Time passed and she called and called and almost never got through to anyone. When she did they gave a standard "they're being worked on" reply. Now, long story short, it's months past tax time and her taxes were never filed and for the past few months she's been trying to get her documents back from him to no avail. Basically, he stole my mom's tax paperwork and never provided the services promised. This man should lose his CPA license.

  If you want a guy who will take your money, leave you with 6 months of unfiled employment tax, blame you for it, and ghost you when you try to get your tax documents for another 6 months, Chad Mashburn is your man! I went to go get my documents in person today and found a not from another client dealing with the same issues.

  I met with the owner Chad back in November, after a friend referred me to him. We discussed my 2019 taxes along with some other items that occurred in 2020. He discovered my 2019 return needed to be amended in my favor. Being impressed I decided to to make an appointment which was made in January, to do my amendment and my 2020 return. Keep in mind he has had my paperwork for the amendment since November. I understood that I had to wait until the IRS opened before that couldd be submitted. That appointment was to be yesterday, February 16 at 4:30. Jan from his office called me yesterday afternoon, (after I had already received numerous reminders about the time of my appointment) only to tell me there was a scheduling conflict. I asked if I could drop off my paperwork and was told by Jan that she would have Chad look at it first thing this morning to be completed. I called around noon today to see if my taxes were done and no one could tell me if they had been completed, as the owner was with a client. I called again at 3 and got the same answer so I said I would be in at 4:30 to pick up my paperwork and go elsewhere, still not knowing if they had been completed. I get there and no one can find any of my paperwork. I was told Chad wanted to speak with me and was asked to wait. I had no choice as they had all my paperwork. Chad never even stepped out of his office to speak with me or apologize and the amended return was never completed in which he had that paperwork for 3 months. They finally found my paperwork! Unbelievable, a complete waste of my time and they are sooooo unorganized and unprofessional. I get it's tax season but it happens every year at this time. Don't waste your time on this tax service. Lesson learned, even if a company is recommended - read the reviews.

  After having my taxes done with Chad for the first time I also asked for a retirement analysis so I know whether I can afford to retire or not gave him the information he came up with a plan we sat down and talked about it even at the busiest time of the tax season. Things worked out great I'm looking forward to doing my taxes again with him next year very polite and professional and intelligent.

  Totally screwed up my taxes and did not own up to it and would not give me a refund. I would highly not recommend your time with Chad.

  Not Impressed they were to send information I received nothing, I called 2 more times left messages and I never received a call back this over a month period! Lost us a new customer.
