  Excellent customer service. Money is deposited in the account at light speed. I did a lot of research and chose Mariner Finance not only for the much better rate compared to the competition, but also because they only charge interest on what is left on the loan balance, contrary to the practices of most of their competitors. If you borrow 5K and pay 2K a month later, interest is applied on the remaining 3K and not on the original borrowed amount.

  I had an issue with the payment I received from Mariner Finance. When I called the loan officer Erika she was very responsive and got me an answer within an hour. I was very impressed with the service and the level of professionalism.

  Great Company, Approved my Loan within minutes, minimum requirements for approval, fund was available within one day and Interest rate was also better than the previous management (Personal Finance). Thanks Marine Finance!!

  Due to Covid19 I needed help, Alexis help restructure my existing loan and consolidated loans and my payment became lower and I received a small refund. What amazing work. These are very stressful times in my life and All the women At Mariner Finance in Elgin were so knowledgeable and kind it made my life a little bit happier and manageable.   I'm the interest rate to an astronomical amount. As you're filling out the online application it says one thing and it says it will not affect your credit but then they pull it.

  MT, thank you for the feedback. Our website states that, “The process uses a “soft” credit inquiry to determine whether a loan offer is available, which does not impact your credit score. If you continue with the application process online and accept a loan offer, or are referred to a branch and continue your application there, we will pull your credit report and credit score again using a “hard” credit inquiry. This “hard” credit inquiry may impact your credit score.”
