      Banked here for about 10 years before I finally drained my account to close it, even then there were issues with me doing that. Highly recommend making a different banking choice. I would agree with another reviewer. If you have no issues things are fine, but even processing large checks seem to be difficult with unreasonable processes. This branch in specific is lacking in customer service and high in turnover. The branch on Neil is much more pleasant but they all adhere to the same archaic practices that are behind on the times.

      I don't write reviews very often, but if I could give a negative star rating to Marine Bank for customer service, I would. I have had an account with Marine Bank since I moved here in 2015. As long as you don't have any issues come up, they are fine to work with. However, if anything comes up that is out of the ordinary, like fraudulent charges on your account, don't expect them to be capable of understanding the situation or to handle it in a timely or careful manner. They advised me to return an item that was mailed to me by mistake and that charged my account $70. Marine Bank assured me that by returning the item and showing them proof that I returned it, that they would handle the fraud activity and I would regain the amount lost. Instead, I returned the item and brought the proof to Marine Bank and was later told they could do nothing about it. I spoke with a teller, who did not refer me to management, even when I said I would be closing my account. Then, I emailed corporate offices, who appologized for the "frustrating experience," but they did not refund me the amount. They just agreed to let me close my account via email. Very unprofessional. Very customer un-friendly.

In regards to your concern of our ability to handle out of the ordinary issues such as fraudulent charges, Marine Bank has an entire department dedicated to protecting our customer’s accounts from fraudulent activity. Your situation was not an issue of fraud but that your order was not cancelled according to the requirements of the merchant. After confirming the return policy of the merchant, which is that returns are not accepted, we finalized our investigation. We did our best to assist you with this matter but because this is an issue with the merchant’s policy, we are aren’t able to further assist you. We wish you the best of luck in resolving this with the merchant.

      Great hours and decent personal service. They didn't inform me of all fees during a conversation specifically about the scenario. And then later stuck me with a large fee they wouldn't erase leading me to close my account. Their online portal leaves a lot to be desired.

      Mortgage lenders should never waste your time for 4 months, shouldnt even waste a week of someone's time let alone 4 months! Banked there since I was 16 and thats what i get. Close on my place in a month with no help THANKS MARINE BANK AND TEAM! 👍
