  We actually had hope for a loan after hearing about LPI loans. After applying and being denied was a huge let down. Nobody will give us a loan due to our credit history. We have great income, we've been in our house for 3 years but yet our debt due to creditors is too high compared to our income. (Student loans mainly) Might I add we even have collateral. All we want is a weight off of our shoulders after taking on my Father-in-laws funeral expense. A huge let down, LPI.

  Every application is looked at on an individual basis, although LPI does not take your credit score into consideration, we do have minimum requirements that need to be met in order to qualify. We look for steady job time, steady residence time, your past pay history, and most importantly we look at a person’s ability to repay the loan back. Unfortunately, not everyone meets these requirements the first time they apply. Our tag line is “We HELP you get to yes”. We try to educate applicants as to what steps they can take to improve their chances of qualifying for a loan in the future.   Melissa is not the friendliest business person i have ever dealt. Took them over a week to tell me NO and I did half the work for her. I have a good job and not so perfect credit (hence why I wanted the loan for debt consolidation 🙄) that was stated from the gate. Completely wasted my time. Fine by me though, my green money spends anywhere, justs a heads up for the next person. If you don't have perfect credit and have not been on your job for 5-20 years, plan to look elsewhere.

One of our requirements to qualify for a loan, on your own, is a year at your job. If your job time is less than a year we offer the option of adding a qualified co-signer as an alternate way to get you to yes. It is our mission at LPI to provide exceptional lending service.   Love this place my credit was awful when I applied and they still gave me a chance and thanks to them for the loan my credit is now well over 500. Stephanie is awesome and she will go out of her way to help you, highly recommend.

  I went to the Des Moines, yes I have bad credit but they did not judge me in fact the opposite they went above and beyond for me and got me approved. The ladies were so friendly and helpful

  They were quick and thorough. I am definitely going to go back for future loans. I used the Des Moines location but I do like that they have one in my hometown as well.
