  We took out a loan from Lobel in 2019, and heavily regretted our decision after looking at the reviews online. Most people wrote that their car got repo-ed with no explanation, their payments weren’t going through, etc. and were just overall having a negative experience with this bank. First few months we were so scared that the same was going to happen to us. So we made sure we always made our payments early or on time and in person at the drop off box in Grand Prairie and called the next day to make sure they had received our payment. We always had a positive encounter with costumer service, they were really helpful and would send me a picture of the transaction through text! This definitely helped put my mind at ease. We never had a single issue within our time with them and would definitely recommend this place to others!

  i don't know why people have so much issues with them, i had a vehicle loan for 4 years with them. Never had any payment issues. only issue i ever had was my insurance and that was cleared easily with 1 phone call to the customer service number, never a issue. paid off my loan a little early and again no issues. everyone has their own dealings with Lobel and i honestly had a great experience and would use again no problem

  I traded in a car and the loan was paid off. Two months later I have yet to receive a $400 check for overpayment. To top that, everytime I call their corp office they give me different information on when the check was mailed. No tracking number and no proof of mailing. I'm just supposed to take their word for it.

  unfortunately have had to use this company for 3 years. the absolute WORST customer service. long wait times, no one speaks proper english and i’m constantly having to correct my account.

  I had an account with this company and in December I made my payment on time. Checked my account a few days later and the money was still there, checked a week later and it’s still there. I called and they told me it’ll take some time to process it. Fast forward they never took it. Next month comes and they are saying I’m behind. So I double the payment and they still continued to say I didn’t pay December but I double payed in January. It was left on my account as if I never paid that month, and ever month after it was reported late. Fast forward to March I was “4 months behind” yet payments were still paid. This was a nightmare and no one ever replied to me to fix this issue.

  Please stay away from this company please please they are very rude they are not professional, they argue over the phone and if you get behind oh my God they throw a fit big time, any way stay away, thank god I almost finish car payment only a couple of months to go.stay away

  Awful company. They pulled from my saving account when I gave them my checking account info? They locked my account because of THEIR own mistake and I’ve had to moneygram my last FOUR payments and won’t tell me when it will be unlocked. Not to mention the $8 moneygram fee charge every time. Highly do not recommend them.

  They don’t notate conversations that were had with customers only payments made. They don’t notate that they spoke with a customer and advised them to make a certain payment amount to bring them back current just that a customer made a payment. Also i learned that they “Push delinquent payments” over month to month and you will accrue late fees even after your payment was made. What i was told on an hour long call from a Team leader. Never received my ledger that was requested 3 weeks ago. The “team leads” are not equipped to handle detailed calls nor research and help customers. The will say they are getting you over to a supervisor and will transfer you to a voicemail. I wouldn’t recommend this finance company until they are coached, their website is updated to show all payments not just payments made on the site but also payments made at the office, through a 3rd party and the site.

  WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would! They are rude and arrogant! Its never their fault its always a mistake on your part and you cant even dispute a charge with them because according to them there's no way they'll ever waive anything on their part and that's just how it works with them, even if you ask them to look in their system they say No everything gets deleted (how convenient) after you make a payment. Cannot wait to be done with this company!!! 😠

  There aren't enough words to say how horrible this institution is. They have the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I never really call in for help unless I absolutely need to because if I'm not on hold for 30-40 min, then hung up on, I am being spoken to in a rude condescending manner. Their online payment system is a complete joke. I've decided to only use bill pay via my bank since they can't seem to properly take this funds out.(I've been with them for 2 years now and never had a problem) Somehow it is alway my fault because I manage to always "incorrectly input my account information". Closing on a house soon and the first order of business is getting the hell away from Lobel Financial. I've worked in a few call centers before, and I can't believe how some of these reps still have a job. I would've never been able to get away with talking to customers the way these people have at any job. Best bet is to stay far away, and if you aren't in a position to get a loan anywhere else, there are still waaaay better options than Lobel.
