  We had such a tremendous experience working with Irene that we felt we had to share this gem with the world! Irene truly went above and beyond helping us with our first home purchase. She is consistently knowledgeable and professional - she explained every step of the process to us, answered all of our questions (never making us feel like any question was stupid), is extremely responsive, and is super well connected (she referred us to an amazing real estate agent who ended up finding our house). We felt like she was always thinking one step ahead through the whole process, and kept us in the loop throughout. Best of all, Irene is truly a great and kind person who is passionate in her field. We felt like we were in good hands - thank you, Irene!!! We are looking forward to working with you again :)

  Irene was one of 4 loan brokers I contacted for a new home purchase. One was too pushy. One ran my credit and didn’t give me their best rate. When I told them the rate that Irene got, they then wanted to deal but it was too late. Irene was on it from the first moment of inquiry. With her help, we got the best rate and even closed EARLY. We had our pre-approval ready for offers in this crazy market and when the time came, got approved with ease. Providing documents was easy. When I had questions, she always replied quickly. If it was a more complex question (all for my understanding of the process), she was able to hop on calls to clarify. Her communication is top notch and I never felt silly asking her questions. She was so gracious. The loan part of home buying was easy, thanks to Irene. 15/10 would recommend!

  Irene did a fantastic job for us on our home refinance. This was during covid so everything was done online and went very smoothly. Irene is a proactive communicator and always made sure we understood the process and the costs clearly. She actually found ways to save us money and even got our deed back into our trust at the end, which was an unexpected surprise. I would highly recommend Irene for all of your home lending needs.

  It's almost impossible to say enough great things about Irene in a concise review. I echo all the other 5 star ratings and agree that you should look no further! Irene has absolutely everything you could ever want in a mortgage broker - she is friendly, trustworthy, knowledgeable, reliable, highly efficient, an excellent communicator, and she does whatever it takes to achieve her clients' goals. We recently used Irene to refinance our house and the process was so much easier than when we used a bank to get the original mortgage. From start to finish, Irene answered our questions without hesitation and kept us updated on the status with the lender. She's happy to take a phone call anytime, but almost everything can be done through email and a secure website. At closing, she even arranged a mobile notary to make it more convenient for us. Whatever it takes, Irene goes above and beyond expectations. I can't recommend her enough!

  Can't say enough great things about our experience with Irene! We just purchased a home with Irene as our broker, but she had actually been helping us plan for making that goal a reality for over a year at that point! My wife and I wanted to buy a home for my parents to live in and I found an article Irene wrote online about Family Opportunity Mortgages so I reached out with some questions. She helped give us realistic expectations of what we could afford and what the closing costs would be... and gracioisly reworked the numbers every couple of months when we would follow up to tell her, "we're now thinking about a house in this price range in this city instead". When we were finally ready to pull the trigger a year later it was the smoothest process we've had so far (as far as the loan was concerned at least, home buying in general is always a stressful experience)! What I appreciate most about Irene is how responsive and proactive she is; she was always letting us know what the next steps were and what the steps after that would be, checking in with us every couple of days with updates or to answer our questions. We've had previous experiences wth brokers where they seem to go AWOL once you're in underwriting, and even one who handed us off to someone else halfway though the process, so it was a welcome change dealing with Irene and we'll definitely be giving her our business next time we purchase/re-finance!

  We had been working with a previous lender who was flaky and unreliable so when we found a house we wanted to offer on our realtor gave us the name of 3 lenders, Irene being one of them. In a matter of days she was able to get us everything we needed to offer on the new house, and while we didn't make it, she was right there with us for our next offer. Speaking of that next offer--it turned into being in contract and now being home owners! Irene and our agent, Kristin Romig, worked together to put together a competitive, strategic offer. We didn't have the most money, but we did have a great offer that eventually led to us getting into contract. In just about 20 days with my bank account being compromised a few days before our close date, and Shelter in Place ordered the same week, she made it happen. Irene is extremely honest, transparent, and pro-active; she is on your side. I think if she can manage this in the middle of a Pandemic, then we're sold. If we ever decide to enter the Bay Area housing market game again, we will definitely work with Irene.

  We all know that in a search for a particular professional or service, there is a very small set that stands well above all others. They are those who know their respective area with expertise, work diligently to ensure their clients’ success and do so efficiently and accurately, all the while remaining positive and friendly. With regards to real estate loan brokers, Irene is undoubtedly the best in all of these respects. We have worked with her on several occasions, for home purchases and re-financing, within and outside of the Bay Area. Each and every time, Irene has found us the best loan options, explained them clearly and made the entire process as easy as possible. She is very diligent, no detail is overlooked, and stays in constant contact throughout. On top of it all, Irene is a pleasure to work with. It is clear she cares about her work and her clients, and has never failed to make a tremendous positive impression on those we have introduced her to, from real estate agents to friends. Even if you’re only considering a real estate loan, look Irene up. We are sure you will feel the same way about her almost immediately.

  Irene did an amazing job with my loan for my first condo, second condo, refinance, and my mother's refinance. Every single time I work with Irene she is extremely helpful, on top of it, gets me the best rate, and answers all of my MANY MANY questions. She is very fast and working with her is unbelievably easy. I can't say enough about her and her services. I have recommended her to my friends and family and will absolutely reach out to Irene for my next home and/or refinance!

  My wife and I feel so lucky and actually privileged to have received Irene’s help in purchasing our newest home. Irene’s speed of communication is just unbelievable. Her accuracy, professionalism, care, positive attitude, and initiative completely blew me away. I would even feel bad when she would write me back in the late evenings or weekends, as I was not expecting her to. But each time she went above and beyond. My financing had many moving parts and, at times, it seemed to me that I had unique limitations that could stop me from getting a loan. But each and every time Irene was completely solution-oriented and never let me felt discouraged. She presented the brightest ideas and does not give up. If there is a way, she will find it! She certainly has the will and determination. Honestly, she has every quality you would hope for in a broker going-to-bat for you. In the end, everything went off without a hitch with a completely smooth transaction, and no hiccups at all – thanks to her. I have used other mortgage brokers in the past, long before I found Irene, and I will tell you that hands-down Irene is the BEST OF THE BEST!!   We worked with Irene and she was a DREAM. The whole home buying process was unfamiliar and foreign to us, but Irene was so helpful, patient, and available. We really appreciated her honestly and the way she never made us feel dumb for not knowing what we didn't know. She offered information readily that we didn't even ask and was always there for us. We highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend her and would definitely use her again if we ever purchase another home.
