  I had seen some bad reviews and was really worried about whether this loan would close. Our loan executive, Stefanie Shifferd, gave us the greatest rate at the time such that my cousin’s lender said it was impossible. She was also super nice, totally on top of it, explained the disclosures with full math of how everything was calculated including the credits. The best experience I’ve ever had. But I did a search online because of what that other lender has said (which by the way is awful—MLD; I’ll never with them again if I can ever help it). I got worried from the reviews but decided to give it a try because of Stefanie. So glad! Our account administration, Janella Wong, was also super great! She was very nice, super on top of it, and very helpful. So grateful.

  Yasin Afzal has been tremendous, very professional, thorough, efficient, sensitive to the issues of borrowers, obviously very well educated and experienced, and most importantly trustworthy..   We’ve never done this type of refi before let alone trusted a company online! But Emmanuel and Lydia were top drawer! We had all of our questions answered immediately they knew what they were doing. If we needed to talk to them; they were there ! That reassured us in knowing we pick the right company.

  My account manager openly told me how I was a name in a stack of 90something files she had and that’s why my closing got pushed back 3 times and I didn’t get return phone calls. Either the business model is broken and the account managers are stretched too thin and can’t meet the demand or the rep I had doesn’t know how to manage her time effectively. Either way ruined the overall experience and I wouldn’t recommend to others.

  Rates are often comparable or slightly lower to other competitors. However, now that industry rates are lower they seem to be overwhelmed, so agents take sometimes weeks to respond to basic questions. It doesn't help that their online platform apparently doesn't list out correctly additional documents that are needed. These issues mean the approval process can take many months, during which you face uncertainty and the consequences of a delayed loan.

  Extremely long processing time. My loan took 4 months to close because of loan originator and loan processors mistakes along the process. No timely follow-up. It took so much energy from me during the process, I wonder that it would have been better for me to go with a different lender even if they were a bit expensive.

  Find some one else. I used Loan Depot twice before with decent experiences. I will never use them again. 90 Days to close a refi. No one calls or emails you back. Just horrible. They should be ashamed of themselves

  I loved the professionalism with which I was communicated, and the deal which I got was pretty good. Also, I liked the transparency with which it was handled. And for the very reason, I've referred my Lending Officer Jahid to bunch of my friends and neighbors. And I know many of them benefitted the same way, as I did. Thank you so munch!!!
