  I was recommended to Henry Gomez by a friend that had used him previously and he was phenomenal. He has worked with many first time homebuyers (like myself) and the process was quick, painless and CLEAR. He was always a phone call/email/text away whenever I had a question and he never hesitated to explain things over and over until I understood and felt fully comfortable. While all this is important... he got me the best rate possible. I can't say enough wonderful things about my first home purchase experience.

  Steve Schneider has been so proactive and helpful from day one it is hard to imagine someone could be better. He is extremely prompt and responds day and night, a true professional. We are also happy with the other staff we have met and it seems obvious that Steve and his team work very well together to make the process seamless for us. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Loan Depot and in particular Steve to our closest friends and family.

  Working with Bob Bowman of loanDepot makes the process of getting a mortgage a breeze. Bob's several years of experience in the industry combined with his unmatched knowledge of the different products make Bob one of the best lenders to work with. I've used Bob and loanDepot several times and every time I've been extremely satisfied. I highly recommend Bob and his Team for all your mortgage needs.

  As an attorney who works on residential deals, I cannot caution consumers enough about Loan Depot. On the transactions I have worked on where Loan Depot is the lender, unlike many lender who provide regular updates to keep all parties informed (Guaranteed Rate and Neighborhood Loans come to mind), Loan Depot does not provide regular updates, respond to emails or phone calls seeking information, and has often missed the mortgage contingency deadline. This causes stress for buyers and sellers alike. They are unapologetic about the missed deadlines, and their Chicago-area supervisor has been crass, combative, defensive and, again, unapologetic about any delays. Consumers have many choices when seeking a mortgage loan, and in my opinion, there are much better, less stressful lenders you can work with.

  Steve Schneider and team were amazing. They were with me every step of the way, very responsive and communicative. They are also very efficient. I appreciate all of their hard work. Great team.

  This company ran my credit without getting consent from me to do so. My wife misunderstood me and gave them my social security number. Still in all I know for a fact they are suppose to call me and get my permission, because what if she wasn't my wife. What if she was pretending to be my wife. I then ask to speak to a manager or supervisor, and sure enough I was told to leave my information because they wasn't available at the time. This lending company seems shady and very unprofessional.

  Loan depot sucks, they do not care about the customer, the minute they hook you - you become cattle. Never to be heard from again, and within a few days they sell off your loan to a third party. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PUTTING YOU IN A WORSE POSITION THAN WHEN YOU BEGAN. AND WHEN THEY HAVE YOU CLOSING COST, THEY CAN CARELESS ABOUT HEARING FROM YOU AGAIN. PLEASE TRY A LOCAL BANK TO RE-FINANCE YOU MORTGAGE.
