      When my friend and colleague walked into U.S Branch: 801 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60610, she never imagined that her visit would inflict such psychological and emotional turmoil. The bank representative Anna Tak not only repeatedly raised her voice but humiliated my friend with choice words and actions that displayed a reckless disregard and intolerance of a 65+ year old elderly woman. The goal of her visit was to notarize closing documents on the sale of her home. She requested that the branch manager Eric Rocks intervene but rather than mitigating damages caused by Anna Tak he took up in arms ganging up on a defenseless 65+ year old woman. According to the World Health Organization; Elder abuse (also called "elder mistreatment") is defined as a single or repeated act or lack of appropriate action which causes harm or distress to an older person. Acts of kindness don’t have to require a grand gesture. In fact, it’s the small actions that make the biggest difference. Why didn’t anyone step in to redress the circumstances or offer solutions to help get your most enduring client through the finish line? She has been a loyal patron with U.S Bank for over 30+ years, her entire portfolio, investments and corporate accounts reside with U.S bank. She not only left with un-notarized documents but in a pool of tears, for feeling defeated and dehumanized. Ervin Blanco, U.S. Bank district manager, is this how you train your employees to treat your longest standing clients let alone our senior citizens? Are these not the same people that we should honor, treat with dignity and elevate when they are unable to help themselves? There seems to be a disconnect in the way U.S Bank does business; the goal of customer service is to foster lasting relationships not abuse those who keep U.S Bank in business!

      Every US Banker I've worked with has been wonderful and I've had an account with US Bank for nearly twenty years. At this location, I waited for forty minutes to talk to a banker and then spent over an hour with Rick. He was incredibly unhelpful, didn't listen to me, constantly interrupted, and was even politely insulting. It seemed like perhaps he was new, but this was an incredibly frustrating experience and I will never visit this branch again. Save your time and go elsewhere. If it weren't for the other wonderful experiences I've had with other US Bankers, I would be closing my account with US Bank right now. On a separate note, the security woman was both thoughtful and helpful.

      Worst business banking I've ever dealt with. US Bank does not care one bit about their customers, only charging them fees. You should not have to chase down your business banker for weeks and have countless emails not responded to. It's the last thing you want to be doing when you're working 70+ hours a week trying to run a small business but to top it off, when you finally get ahold of someone to schedule an appointment, you'll wait for 45 minutes to have your business bankruptcy not show up. It's a shame State Farm partnered with them. I will not be referring any of my customers to our "alliance"partner.

      I absolutely love this branch. This is the coolest US Bank building you'll ever find. Really high ceilings, kind of swanky, it's the old Cosmopolitan Bank building. The staff is quite friendly and I have no complaints on my experience with the staff or this specific location, aside from they could totally use some free coffee. Seriously someone on staff there needs to read this and get some free coffee out there :) It is still a large bank however, and that is why it is rated a 4. At first switching to US Bank years ago I had thought that I had finally found a large bank that wasn't going to try and screw me over with weird hidden policies. I have come to realize this will happen with any large bank, it has been notably less at US Bank than my experiences with Chase Bank, however it has still happened.

      Nice, quiet building. It's faster than others around it. I just wanted to clarify that the review posted by Taylor, the person designated as a local guide below me, is extremely incorrect. This location is in River North, NOT the Loop. It's not even close to the Loop. There is actually street parking nearby on Chicago Avenue. It's not the best, but it exists and you can usually find a spot. I just didn't want any misinformation out there!

      A beautiful building with high ceilings and old decor. Quiet with good service. Since it's in the Loop, don't expect good access to parking.

      They were politely unhelpful and respectfully insulting. I definitely recommend a different branch if you have a choice. It is a pretty building, though.
