  My Wife and I recently used Jamie for the purchase of our first home. We worked with him for months getting our credit history in order, and he was always available for the hundreds of questions we had. he really cared about our finances and steered us in the best direction, even reviews all documentation to ensure we were in good standing with everything. he is very humble easy to talk to and a caring human being.   Jaime was excellent to work with. He was completely upfront about the costs and whether a refinance, in my case made sense financially.   Jaime Fernandez is the consummate professional and loves what he does. To me, that's what I look for in a professional. This gentleman is immersed in his field and knows the ins and outs of the mortgage industry. He helped with our original purchase, and two subsequent refi's. Any time Jaime has thought it to be a good time for my family to get some savings via a refi, he has reached out and made it happen. I have recommended him to friends, including a US Marine vet. Jaime has knocked his VA loan out for him too, which are not as straight forward as conventional loans. I have no doubts about his work ethic and I would reach out to no one else for my loan needs. Thank you for being so transparent. It makes all the difference.

  After doing my due diligence and shopping around for refinance offers I went with Mike Darcy of Lightning Mortgage and I am extremely happy that I found him. His terms are very competitive, he’s honest and transparent, responsive, and most importantly he demonstrated that he had my best interest at heart throughout the process (not a given in the mortgage industry!). Additionally, Lightning Mortgage lived up to their name as they moved very quickly start to finish. I highly recommend.

  This was my third transaction with Jamie and he consistently delivers the best customer satisfaction. In fact, I can't even begin to describe how smooth each of my transactions were... getting a loan approved and doing the paperwork wasn't even on my list of things it was that well taken care of. You have to experience it to know what i am talking about. He looks out for his clients and is not commission driven but rather provides options that are beneficial to the client, me in this case. I don't write reviews often but if i can do so for Jamie I'd do it everywhere. Try him out and you'll have his experience and his friendship for life.

  I went to Jaime at Lightning Mortgage for a VA loan after trying several other lenders. Jaime came highly recommended by a good friend but after my previous experience with lenders who claimed to know VA loans I wasn't sure what to expect. After one conversation I could tell Jaime was the real deal and actually knew what he was talking about. I immediately started an application and got an amazing rate, the cost of the loan was actually less than his initial quote. I had some trouble getting documents submitted from the sellers which could have pushed the closing back and cost me extra rent money and moving cost. Jaime managed to get everything submitted, staying on top of the title agents, attorneys, and agents to make the original date happen for us. If you need a mortgage use Lightning Mortgage, if you need a VA loan DO NOT go anywhere else. You will not be disappointed; after 4 brokers who were VA loan "experts" and were completely lost, trying to charge me things the VA doesn't allow, thought VA and FHA loans were the same thing, etc. Jaime was the only person that actually knew how these loans work and because of him we were always two steps ahead and able to close on time.
