  Horrible service. I opened an account here back in 2015. They have steadily become worse. Closed down in February 2021 after the freeze and finally opened back up in October. Never once did they think to route their calls to the Cross Roads branch. Phone just rings and rings. No emails to customers with updates, or updating their website. Glad I switched to DATCU!

  I have been a LiFE Credit Union customer for 7 years and always appreciate the personal service from the people who know me by name and are like family. Whenever I need a loan, they make it so easy! I just refinanced my truck loan to cover some boat repairs and Rhode at the Unicorn Lake branch took care of everything by email. I never had to leave my desk! I highly recommend doing business with a local credit union you know, like, and trust. I recommend LiFE Credit Union!

  I have to say for years I loved banking with this place; they treated me better than I have been at any bank ever. Unfortunately, under new management (Dustin) they have let go most of the employees who's friendliness, openness and sincerity is what made the experience pleasant. Replaced with "professional" (read: not friendly) employees, I'm now treated like a bother at a place I have banked for a decade.They have failed at basic banking tasks, like being able to provide monthly statements after repeated requests, or even contacting me when issues with my account arise. Randomly disactivating my card, causing automatic payments to not go through (nearly causing my electricity to be turned off because they never contacted me to let me know), sending me a replacement card with hundreds of dollars of charges on it I didn't make when it arrived in the mail, then holding money from my account to "cover those charges". Attempting to charge me finance fees on a loan that weren't owed... multiple times. Though they were in the wrong, and they know they were because they eventually dropped the charges, I had to fight with them, over the course of many months, to get the fees removed. The list is endless. If you want all the cold, impersonal service of a big bank, without any of the advantages, LIFE is for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and use another credit union. Rhode is literally the only thing, besides a loan I have, that keeps me there at all. Frankly, once my loan is payed off I'll end my relationship with them entirely. I've never seen a more thorough 180° turn around, from the best banking experience I ever had to frustration, annoyance and anger every single time I have to deal with them. Sad, but in return for the awful service I hear the bank itself is doing pretty good financially under Dustin, so there's that...

  If you’re looking for the best customer service from a credit union, then look no farther. My loan officer gave me his cell phone number for any after hour problems or questions I have. You don’t find service like this everyday. I’ve used Other credit unions for years and it sometimes would take a week to get a loan professed from start to finish. These guys take care of me safe day. Give them a chance to earn your business.

  Im really happy with this credit union, Kylan Doucet in particular. They take the time to know my name and always ask how im doing. They have always helped me when I needed it with financial advice and loans. I highly recommend them!

  I have had a quick turn around on my loans. I have 2 give them 3 days to process. They have always helped me when I needed it. Ive used this credit union since 2009

  Have banked with them from out of state since it was Moore Credit Union in the early 1990s. Absolutely THE BEST Customer Service!

  Great customer service by a very friendly staff! I love that I can use a 7/11 to withdraw money, as they are everywhere in my area. :D

  Horrible customer service from brain dead staff and rude Pam on multiple occasions- including once when she sent my replacement debit card and pin to an OLD address, which I told her I did not live at any more- then when i called to complain she said "well i cant update your address until you come in person, to which i replied "i understand that, but you shouldnt have knowingly sent my account information and card to the wrong address!" she said "are you finished?" lol- seriously the worst bank ever- have had so many customer service issues i switched banks for good.- and just to clarify- It was the very same phone call that i told her about my move and needing to cancel my old card, that she sent my new one to the old address- so she is either brain dead or clueless. Also, tried to call in for account information on my credit dard and she wouldn't take my call because she was "about" to leave for lunch.

  I sincerely apologize for any frustrations that you have experienced with us. It is our policy on address changes to have the person come in because of all the identity fraud occurring in today's world and to protect our member. As far as the problems with the specific employee that you named above, this issue was addressed and you were assigned a different account manager in order to prevent any further misunderstandings.
