  Went into Liberty on Sunday to see if they could help me out with determining if my gold cufflinks that I found at a sale were real. The gentleman said he would have to "scratch" them to determine if they were real. I agreed. Well the scratch test was more like a butchery to one of these previously beautiful pair of cufflinks. Yes they were real but the butcher job with the "scratch" test was unnecessary. Now I have no choice but to sell them for scrap gold which is probably the reason he did what he did to them. Was thinking of maybe gifting them, now that is out of the question. I would have happily paid something for the service for a test if I wasn't going to sell them to that store. Maybe they can rethink their way of doing business before they ruin other peoples stuff. They won't have a second bite at the apple with this customer who has yes done business with them before and had no previous problems. I would have said something then but I didn't have my reading glasses with me and didn't notice what a butcher job he had done. I do have before and after pictures because I was trying to identify the makers mark.

  Wow, sorry to hear that. Please bring them by so that we can evaluate them and see about getting them repaired. Unfortunately Ms.Ilchert the counterfeiters are making better and better fakes every day. The associate still should have marked it where it couldn't be seen.   I have done business with Liberty Pawn & Gold for several years now. The customer service is first class. I have purchased our home computer, several handheld video games (gameboy) and my latest purchase, an Acer laptop. Prices are great and I always know that I'm purchasing items of quality. Highly recommended - Best in the area - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
