Tad McCalister1Multiple negative interactions with this bank and this branch. I signed up for a checking account online utilizing a promo code for direct deposits. The bank opened my account, and then closed it the next day, saying I needed to verify my information in branch (so why did they open it to begin with?). I went into the branch to do so. After a long wait, I saw a banker that was sitting in the lobby (not the office). She straight up lied to me. I asked her if the promo code I signed up was still on the account. She said no. I asked why. She said because the account had been closed out and I had waited a month to verify my identity. That wasn't a sufficient explanation to me, so I probed further. She changed her story and said the promo was still on the account, but I may not be able to get the funds. I said that's not what you initially told me. She said yes it was. She said I would need to call the online office if I wanted to discuss the issue further. She also alternated between saying the account had been "closed" and the account had been "blocked," which are presumably different things, so I still don't understand which description is accurate. I was upset by this interaction because the agent initially gave me incorrect information and then lied about giving it to me, presumably to save face. She was initially insistent that I was no longer eligible for the promo "because I had waited a month," when she had no basis to make such a claim. If you make a mistake, admit it and apologize. Had I not probed further, I would have left the branch with an incorrect perception of reality.

corina h5I don't understand the negative reviews, for the past two years I have been banking here (but have been a Suntrust customer for over 30 years), I have gotten wonderful customer experience and I have had very difficult or tedious transactions for them to help me with recently. Whitney, in particular, has been a pleasure to work with in difficult times for me.

Bianca Killings1I don’t understand how this could be one of the worst banking experiences for multiple people and yet no change, obviously the general manger or owner could care less. This banking branch is unprofessional, rude, and absolutely SLOW. Suntrust or truist please take your business serious and re-staff employees here or take it away completely. The employees there are incompetent.

Jimmy Shing5I can't say about anyone else, but our business' banker, Whitney Owen, was phenomenal. We had our account comprised and Whitney sat with us for 1.5 hours to get it all sorted out + recommended us to get business credit (took the initiative). Everything was sorted out the following morning. Couldn't give a higher praise for Whitney and her professionalism + friendly attitude!

Miguel Concepcion1Worst experience ever. Needed to get a large amount for closing on a house and the manager refused to approve a cashiers check even after the teller got approval from the operations department. The manager never came out of the office to provide any kind of assistance, instead closed her office door. We had provided several proof of ID to make this transition happen. Then requested a wire and they not even have anyone available to approve a wire. This is the worst bank experience we had in our lives. We be closing this account and taking our business elsewhere. Won’t be recommending this branch or bank to any family or friends!!!

Priyanka Prakash1Went into the branch today to get some business documents notarized and must say, the only notary the bank employs is young and rude. He was angry we did not pre book the appointment and then said cannot be let into the branch. Agreed, we didn’t book the appointment in the system but being a business customer, VP had assured via email he would be telling someone we would come in first thing in the morning. We were told we would not be let inside the branch because of covid-19, so the trash cabinet by the ATM served as the table. It was only after mention of being business customer and showing our IDs with Business Debit card somehow the notary helped out. But before that he was adamant our names had to be pre-printed on the sheet, which is not true because we have had documents notarized many times before and the people have to hand write in capital letters their full name and sign next to their names. The witness section then needs to be completed by the notary who writes full names of the people, signs, dates and puts his notary seal showing the expiry date of his notary. Even after all this, he got the spelling of the names wrong and had to be reminded to put in the county. This only shows his ego and lack of people skills. The only saving grace for this branch is Richard the VP, he is thoughtful and kind.

Lynn Brown1The only reason I gave 1 star is because I couldnt give 0. Currently sottting bbn in drive through for 14 min and the 2nd car is being served. ALWAYS like this. Employees are unconcerned and could care less. Ridiculous in this day and time.

Emmanuel Marshall1They smile at who they want. If there's a line be prepared to wait....and wait...and wait...while one person counts money and the other tries hard to satisfy one customer that's been there for an hour already. I don't do reviews but I'll try and help my community today...beware.

Jaquan Sandlers1Don’t open up an account here. In the contract it says they can cancel your account at anytime they want, and when they do they don’t notify you. I have to wait 7 business days to get my money back from suntrust. Don’t trust suntrust

haya gharbieh1If I could leave no stars I would , because I experienced the worste of this Bank , I went to the bank trying to make 2 credit card payments and withdrawal a large amount of cash which no ATM allow , so I wait on line , I had 3 people ahead of me , it was July 3rd 2019 and it was 4:55 when I arrived , aft waiting for 17 minutes and noticed that Taylor the bank teller waiting on this lady for over 17 minutes just her alone and she probably was there 10 minutes earlier if not longer , despite the fact that the drive threw was busy , they were short handed and the second teller was totally ignoring the people on line , another 40 minutes and I'm still in line and the 3 people ahead of me where still in line it has not moved, or got started on , after 55 minutes my turn was up , I was furious to wait for an hour for making the 2 credit cards payment , I saw a Tyler the Teller , I asked for a manager and I told that he wasn't there , I asked for his assistant and also Tyler reply I'm the only one here , made me more furious , it was an hour wait in line and it's a hot day leaving my mother sitting in the car waiting for over an hour in the heat that was not okay , it was the last straw with this Bank , also had several problems with SunTrust Bank in the past for months , to this point I decided to withdrawal all the funds out and Tyler was informing me that he was going to give me about over $6000 in $20 , you've got to be kidding me , eeeeehh , ok not in big bills but in 20's I really feel like I'm mistreated and I'm being played with by the Teller , he counted the money 7 time's ofcorse on my time and he was like a turtle ( way toooo slowww) I really felt notious in this Bank , my Dad has account with SunTrust not for long neither my mother , we are changing banks , I would like to speak to who ever is in charge , that place is run poorly and slowly , not happy to be with this Bank anymore , I would recommend no one to deal with SunTrust , horrible Bank horrible staff and horrible service
