  I’ve worked with Jason on two home purchases and one refinance now. Each experience has been great! He’s extremely reliable, thorough and honest. He was able to get the lowest rate for us and was available for closing. He also explained the closing fees and process thoroughly and helped to answers all of our questions. I will definitely continue to use Jason in future purchases/refinances and would recommend him to anyone!

  We were on an extremely tight timeline to get financing prior to closing. Jason was available to us at all hours and made it easy for us to get all the required documents in order to satisfy the lending requirements.   Jason Robinson did a FANTASTIC job handling our mortgage application while we relocated from Texas. Our situation was somewhat complicated by the pending sale of our existing property in Texas, but with Jason's help we were able to find a price range and mortgage product that allowed us to purchase a home without a contingency on the sale of our Texas home. His experience handling relocations made a big difference for us, and he was able to offer us very competitive rates on the mortgage. He even managed to save our original closing date when the city requested a surprise fix before issuing the Certificate of Occupancy for our new construction; he literally brought in the COO 15 minutes before closing. It was pretty epic. Anyway, you should work with Jason, who is also a super nice guy!

  We worked with Jason on two loans. His knowledge and support during our first mortgage was beyond what we could have hoped for. When it came time for us to make our next purchase, we wanted to work with him again. He made himself available for questions. I remember during our first mortgage, we were gathering many documents late one night, sent them over to him and he responded quickly that same night to confirm we had everything he was looking for. That was comforting and we knew he was working hard to help us close when we wanted. I recommend Jason every time someone asks for a lender I trust.

  Jason was amazing through the entire home buying process. He was recommended to us by our realtor and we couldn't have been happier. From the first conversation to the last, Jason was super helpful and professional. We were forced to change our mortgage plans in the last week before closing and Jason put in a lot of effort to make sure everything closed smoothly and on time.   Worked with Jason Robinson on a mortgage loan for my first house purchase. Jason was incredible to work with. We put in a couple of offers on house, and Jason was ready on a moments notice to get us the paper work to make our offer as strong as possible. If you know the housing market in Ann Arbor, that’s a huge benefit to have. There were multiple times that we’d see a house during an open house on a Saturday or Sunday that offers were due later that evening which he was able to get personalized pre-approval letters on time to get the offers out. Jason is extremely knowledgeable as well, not just with question about the mortgage, but going through the process of purchasing a house. His experience with helping other home buyers in Ann Arbor showed when it came time to help us. He was double checking all the steps we were taking, offered up advice if he found something concerning, and was really working for us. He really made us feel like we weren’t just going through the process alone. As for the mortgage, Jason was also a rock star. My application wasn’t the easiest by any means, and I wasn’t making the process any easier. Between selling a personal business during the time of looking at houses and working full time (including work related travel during the week before closing), Jason always made himself available and helped out anyway he could. Whether is was getting information out to insurance companies, helping compile and organize documents and answering any number of questions (or theoretical situations), he was more than happy to get me answers, if he didn’t know the answer, track down answers, and run numbers for me. He even helped with some insurance issues that popped up at the last minute. Giving Jason a 5-star review isn’t even fair to him, he deserves even more. I would recommend Jason to any of my friends and family members. If you’re going to get a mortgage on a house, go with Jason, you be very glad you did.

  I was fortunate enough to be referred to Jason Robinson at Lake Michigan Credit Union for a mortgage during a recent home purchase. Having been out of the home selling/buying/refinancing practice for nearly twenty years, I was rusty to say the least. Jason and his team at LMCU took the pain and anxiety out of the experience, providing my wife and I with assistance in details of the sale of our existing home as well as expert, proactive management of the submission of my application for my new mortgage with LMCU. Jason locked us in at a great rate, explored opportunities unique to our circumstances to reduce loan/closing costs, and navigated the sometimes overwhelming intricacies of document requirements for us by simplifying what we were required to submit for approval. I can’t recommend this team more highly! 5 stars!
