  LAFCU in Charlotte is the most informative credit union that I have ever dealt with. Always friendly people willing to listen and help out. I get all my loans and credit cards through LAFCU. Automatic payment withdrawals make my life so much easier! And the people treat me as a loved customer, always understanding that life is not always easy. LOVE LAFCU!

  I have banked with LAFCU for 7 years and my family banked with them before that. I have never had an issue and they helped my husband and I build our credit when we were just starting out and we were able to purchase a home. My family is where it is now because of the caring staff here. I’ve never been on hold longer than 2-5 minutes (5 was during initial COVID lock down) if I email them I get a response within 24 hours. If it tells you how amazing LAFCU is we now live over an hour away and still bank here.

  Went into the Charlotte branch as the branch that my personal banker is at is not currently open to the public. I wanted to pay off my car loan. The folks there were very friendly and helpful, as I had never done a pay-off before. Quick, easy and successfully completed in a very short period of time. Love dealing with LAFCU!!

  years ago I used to be with a bank and then they changed their rates so I joined a credit union and liked it a lot better until they moved there branch location far away. So I moved to Charlotte and lucky for me there was a LAFCU which has been like Heaven for the wife and me, credit union for life.

  I’ve been a member of LAFCU for several years. It’s always a pleasure to go into one of the branches and be recognized and greeted by my first name. They are there to help, a lot like family except they won’t ask to borrow money, but I’ll guarantee they will most likely help you get the cash you need for your next “whatever”project... #❤️Mycreditunion

  You will have constant issues with this bank. Although the new website is amazing. Also their debit cards are ridiculously low quality. They feel and look like something out of the toy isle compared to MSU. I still bank here even though I hate then and I don't know why. Don't even think about calling them on the phone or you will be in hold for way to long. Use the app to message

  I have been with LAFCU for over 10 years and have been completely satisfied. Since Covid I was able to make a name change for 3 accounts, have a release of lien sent to me and order new check, all over the phone. Without any hassle!

  The employees at the Charlotte LAFCU are great. Most all of them are very friendly and know their regular customers by name. Plus the rates beat banks rates hands down.

  Usually good service, but I was left out in the cold when the new computer service was installed. I got numerous NSF charges because I wasn't told about the change. My old account was frozen, and I was unable to do anything with it online.

  if you are responsible with your credit this place is amazing. they gave me a small personal loan with terrible credit and thanks to where that loan lead me i went from a 530 credit score to a 740 in just under a year. was able to go from not being able to afford a used car to buying a new car with very low interest rate and nice low payments. chances are anyone giving this credit union a bad review manages their credit poorly and pays their bills late.
