  Worst customer service. 0 stars for your phone system and waiting 45 minutes on hold every single time I call- no matter the reason, 0 stars for your ability to take weeks to Start GAP claims and make excuses why it isn't done timely and correct and last but not least 0 starts for your terrible employees. Done doing business with LAFCU.

  I have had an account at LAFCU for 40 years, and they have always been, by far, the best financial institution I have ever dealt with. The banks with which I had accounts were in some cases actually antagonistic toward and preyed upon their customers, always looking for a way to charge fees and high loan interest rates. Not LAFCU. I have never encountered a mistake in accounting either. I'm not sure what the problem was with the few people who posted one-star ratings, but I am very, very pleased with the job LAFCU does. And that's all I have to say about that! :)

  Poor customer service. They say they will call you back if they get disconnected but they don't. The charge you for things on your loan without calling to salve the problem first. We had asked to get our car deferred once. They said we were good to go. And instead of calling us and telling us that we were no longer good to go they just emailed us. Which we didnt get till now. All they are is out to screw people. This will be the last time we ever do buissness with them. I don't recommend them to anyone, ever! Editing to add more! Again they are adding things and trying to charge us for stuff that was supposed to have been taken care of. No one answers phone's and they wouldn't except my card to pay for the car loan!!! My name and my husbands name is on the same car and account. So I am not sure why they couldn't use my card. If I could give 0 stars it would be a -100!

  Always slow at answering the phone, can be on the phone for half a hour and still no answer to get help. Plus they are bullies when it comes to paying your loans, threaten repossession when your only one payment behind. When stuff happens and you cant make a payment they dont try and work with you, they get a attitude and demand money right then and there. Cant wait to get rid of this bank once my car is paid off. Never recommend this bank to anyone

  Always fast and friendly service, I've never had a problem with LAFCU. I tell all my friends and family to join. Best place to bank.

  The people at the St Johns branch are absolutely amazing. They will walk you through any problems you may have. I LOVE my St Johns LAFCU.
