      Kitsap Credit Union does not seem to appreciate their responsibility in handling people's money. I gave them 1k a WEEK AGO to set up an account. I was supposed to get a call in 1-2 days, but I haven't heard from anyone in a full week. I have an EMPTY ACCOUNT, and I have no idea when I will be able to get access to my money, because they totally flaked me. I can't wait to get this sorted out so I can find a more professional bank to do business with.

      Let me be clear, this branch, amazing ladies! This bad review has nothing to do with these people personally at this location. However, the 800 number, spoke with Janet. A supervisor. She refused to give me an e-mail, phone number, her manager's info. ANYTHING to file a dispute. Systems have been down for 2 days at all KCU and I called the 800 to try to see how I can make a rent payment. Janet was unfriendly, rude, talked over me, unhelpful. However her employee I spoke to before her, wonderful and knowable. I would like to file a complaint against Janet so that HOPEFULLY she can be retrained on customer service.

      Do NOT get a Visa card through Kitsap CU. There is no way to setup autopay with a non-KitsapCU account. I have to take a picture of a paper check and move it around accounts every month to pay my bill. Customer support was abysmal.

      I have a business account and have enrolled in notifications for deposits or withdrawals of $100 or more. This service works perfectly for my personal account but has failed for the 4th time. It has been over a month since I reported the problem and over a week since I have requested feedback as to the status of the problem. I have heard nothing. And there is no way to contact anyone from the Board or management (despite my requests) to let them know what a terrible experience and contractor they have selected for the this process.

      I would very much like to Thanks the folks to all area locations for Kitsap Credit Union's . I will have to say I pretty much have a favorite one however. Down at the Ferry,s . I have been with you folks over 25 yrs. And have been very proud to say so. Anytime I need to come in to see all of y'all your always smiling and happy even with being busy and all. My family as well says thank you.

      Just when you thought customer service no longer existed, I found myself NEEDING help with a bank and met 5 incredible individuals that made the process so smooth, professional and kind. Each went above and beyond to help me out in a stressful, "time is of the essence" situation. I'd like to recognize them all. Jenny Soule was INCREDIBLE. So patient, knowledgable and helpful. She calmed my nerves, answered all million questions I kept throwing at her and made sure I felt confident in what I was doing. Oscar Mendez took the time out of his busy day to expedite things when he didn't have 2 seconds to spare. He kept a positive spirit throughout and was able to do what I needed. Skyler Blum assisted me when I came into the bank and was super frazzled. He was willing to help without thinking twice, stayed professional and courteous. Kristin Backs was eager to put all the pieces together and accomplish the end product without hesitating. I was in such a time crunch and she calmly handled the end product! And lastly Megan Murphy for getting back to me ASAP, smiling through her emailing (you can always tell when someone is cheerful on the other side) and for her guidance. I could not say thank you enough to a company/team who actually answered the phone immediately when I called, emailed me back swiftly and smiled through it all. I want them to know how much I appreciate their kindness and generosity of time. I was so very pleased with my experience with this bank and look forward to doing more business with them in the future to come.

      Shame on Kitsap Credit Union (KCU) for using the name of this community. Did I go too far? Definitely not. If you're going to call yourself Kitsap and pose as a community first organization, try to represent the community with a little more consideration for all your members with respect to diversity. DEAR MEMBERS AND PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS, This is NOT a community credit union with community values, they are as good as any regular bank in the world (Which may be satisfactory for some). When I began vesting my money into the vaults of this bank, I was drawn to the name Kitsap - I'm proud to live here Credit Union - They are more personable and considerate. Wrong, wrong and *ahem* wrong. I'll keep it short and sweet, I've been a member for many years, I financed a car, paid it off in 4 years with 2 consecutive missed payments (30 days) back to back. My bad (I lost an income when spouse died). Well in the 4 years I had the loan, I paid religiously these missed payments were isolated. The account is now paid in full and closed on-time with no other problems. Here's what my "community" credit union has done for me within the last 2 years. • Denied another car loan due to the missed payments. • Refused to remove the closed account from my credit file (I checked, they can), to help me qualify for my first home purchase in the community of Kitsap. • Have advised me of an option to dispute late account payments (aka be dishonest). There is good news, I overcame all of these hurdles by waiting patiently with my family for the late payments to reach 2 years. Wells Fargo financed my families vehicle (I know, of all the community institutions, THIS BANK helped). Private lenders financed my mortgage. Navy Federal CU was happy to take my 90k salary into their vaults for safe keeping and gave me a hefty credit card. These institutions will tell you: I've never missed a payment!

      Sad to see a bank associated with TurboTax. TurboTax spent millions lobbying congress to block automatic filing where many people would have to do nothing to get their return. They have legislated some of their profits at American's expense.
