Kia Motor Finance Reviews

Tamara O'Neal1The car company itself is great I've enjoyed working with them but the Kia financing itself SUCKS! Every time we call to talk with a different rep, they always have a different answer from the last rep we spoke with either one is right, or one is wrong. And their communication between one another is not great either it's like are these guys all getting the same training or is only half getting trained while the other half just figure out what to say to the customers and you would figure they need to keep notes on accounts but they don't so my husband or I end up explaining ourselves AGAIN!! it's really annoying Next time I Finance I'm going to go through my bank no more dealing with this clown financing again!

Zack Marsh1Quick to take your money. But it takes an act of god to get a refund from them. They will just sit on any money they owe you until you call them repeatedly for it. Received two refunds from a dealer which took 3 months as it was. Then had to call Kia Motor Finance 6 times (3 per check) over 2 months to get them to move through their system. You want late fees when you don't receive money from us on time. Wheres my late fees on my refunds?

latonia1I decided to buy my leased Forte through a dealer, at the end of my lease. The dealership sent KMF the full payoff amount and I mistakenly sent an extra lease payment. I called to have the extra payment refunded back to me and have been getting lies and the run around since early November. Like many other reviewers, I've been hung up on and blatantly lied to about the refund being processed and/or the check is in the mail. They even tried to tell me the dealer's payment was $300 short. The dealership stepped in so now that lie has been dispelled they still won't issue the refund. I'm now being told it take 90 days to close the account and the refund will be considered 30 days after that. Which means although the car has been paid off since Nov. 2, I can't expect to see my money any earlier than March.

poi qwe1I have been requesting KIA Finance so many times to release the lien to DMV since last year after I paid off my vehicle 6 month ago, so the DMV can mail the title to me. The Kia Finance customer service is terrible. They always said they were going to request the message to the title department, but I haven't got any heard back from them. The customer service said, there was no way to contact title department directly, so I can't literally check the progress. Also, there was a day I was able to speak with finance special agent couple weeks ago, and she said the issue would be resolved and would take about a week to release the lien to DMV. I followed-up with DMV after 2 weeks, and they said they are still waiting for electronic message from KIA Finance. I feel like agents who work in the KIA Finance don't know their task. I really don't understand how they can't resolve this simple issue. I have been always proud of this company, but not anymore. I am really disappointed with KIA.

HARRY GEYER1Had a 3 year lease which I completed then paid off the car so I could keep it. After 2 months I found out that they were still taking monthly payments out of my account. Also, I still haven't received the title to my car. Tried to call the company to straighten this out and get answers but after 6 phone calls, with 3 supervisors hanging up on me, I still didn't get a straight answer. As a matter of fact, the one thing they did tell me was that my title was mailed, but to a different address AND a different name! Stay away from this company. The service, If you want to call it that, is non-existent!

Gregory Detscher1Take the 1 stars seriously and NEVER finance with Kia Motors. Or buy their cars. They know of several engine problems yet they keep selling the cars. My daughters fiancé died and we were returning the car the day of the funeral that he had bought her for her and their baby to drive. Kia sent a repo company out the day before and snatched the car. I've been trying to explain to them the situation and ask if she can have the baby's belongings from inside. We don't want the car, we need the baby's belongings. They are heartless and cold, and dare I say a little evil in the way they have treated our family in these horrible times. I worked for a cpl years at a Kia dealership and left once I realized they are knowingly selling faulty products and Kia Motor Finance is about as predatory as they could be. Stay away from these ridiculous antics. All the 1 star reviews are true. Horrible company with a horrible product, and heartless people who seemed too enjoy telling us she couldn't have the baby's belongings, including the car seat, from the car. So I have had to drive to her and begin purchasing all new stuff, since Kia stranded her. I will be posting the story on every review site I can find. They deserve to have the layers peeled back so consumers understand what kind of company they are.

Eunhye Park1Love Kia, but will never ever use Kia finance anymore. Hung up on Kia's end and forever take to get the title after paid off. (has been 1 month so far) Want to sue if I can. Don't finance here ! Not deserve any star !

Tina Computzzi1The ineptness is terrifying. The only thing this company does well is take your money. Any other interaction with them other than paying your normal payment through autopay is literally the most painful experience you will encounter. Nothing is solved from one phone call either, so it will always turn into painful experienceS. Turned my lease in 2 years ago and I'm STILL trying to get money back from them for a mistake that THEY made. I will NEVER buy/lease any car under the Hyundai/Kia name solely based on my experience with Kia Motor Finance/Hyundai Capital. ***UPDATE*** I filed a compliant through the BBB and had my 4 year frustration resolved in a week by their corporate escalations team. This is the only way to go if you are having any issues with this company. Sad it has to come to this.

Tockandra Hightower1To be completely honest the only reason I gave them one star was so I could leave a message. Truth be told I tried sending over my new contract to them and a business as such I was told they dont have an email address. I faxed it several times but each time they say they didn't receive it.It is always an excuse after excuse with them the only thing they're good at is taking your paymentThat's it!!!

Wanda Lewis1Horrible finance, dealership put wrong information for milage of my trade in and the payout amount. Almost 40,000 is what I would end up pay for one of the cheapest cars on the market! Dealership has the new car and I have my old car back kept my down payment and added so much money to my old car that I will end up paying 33,900.00 for my old car back that was there less than 24 hours, and they got the new car back at same time.
