  I have been with Key Bank in Edmonds since their beginning. The new manger is unbending and very impersonal..We.miss our old staff and wish it was different. Won't bring my future there. Loved Teresa!!!!

  This particular staff member was not helpful at all. I simply wanted to cash my check but it became a bigger situation than necessary all because for some reason two different people didn’t understand that I wanted to cash my check. It was a waste of time and energy and it just left me frustrated with the bank itself because this isn’t the first time where I feel like my time has been wasted at this bank.

  I generally hate going to the bank but Theresa Catt (the branch manager) always makes it quick and easy for my business needs. Definitely a major improvement over going to Chase. Thanks!

  I had some complex business to transact and got very good service at this branch. They were much more helpful than 4 other locations I have visited in the north end recently.

  Charges for cashing a Key Bank check if you dont have an account. Teller has Snarky attitude about it. Unnecessary and uncalled for.

  Hi Jessi - I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience at our local branch, I'll be happy to forward your concerns regarding the behavior of our teller to the appropriate area for review. I can also help explain why there is a charge for cashing a check. KeyBank is glad to render services to our customers – services they pay for through regular checking account service charges. We are just as glad to render these same services to those who are not yet our customers – we simply ask that they “pay as they go” for them. Checks cashed by those who are not our customers still require the same level of service, hence the fee. We also feel strongly that consumers should have the choice to either cash a check at KeyBank and pay the fee, or choose not to, and go to their own financial institution. That is why the teller informed you of the fee before you completed the transaction. Please be aware that KeyBank policies comply with the Uniform Commercial Code.   Will do foreign exchange but only if I paid them to have an account. This should not be the standard for a bank.
