  I got a equity line of credit because it was recommended by an acquaintance. The line of credit was good. However I was convinced by a branch member to open a checking account with them. What they don’t tell you is they have a $50 monthly maintenance fee. It took me negative when I never used it and apparently I owe them half a grand now. Don’t waste your time and money on these guys.

  I went to this ATM location (300 W) to deposit cash into my account, but both my card and the cash were taken for no apparent reason at all. The cash was not deposited so I had to file a claim, and I've tried to call the branch about my card, but the phone number doesn't work. It's like a sick joke lol

  The new Branch Manager here is awesome. She answered many of my questions and discussed many options for me and my business banking. I use key bank credit card and have been getting great service and points with using my credit card. If you are a business owner looking to get a lot of benefits for your business and from a business credit card, choose key banks. They are great bank to work with when it comes to business expenses and I highly recommend using key bank service.

  I can’t recommend Key Bank enough. Chelsea and her team have been incredibly helpful. Saving me a ton of time and money. I switched from a “bigger” bank. Best decision I’ve made for me and my business.

  Chelsea and her team have helped me many times with my business banking needs when my other bank wouldn’t. They were especially great with the PPP program small business loan. They processed it quickly and got me the loan faster, better, and easier than I could imagine. So grateful and appreciate the help!

  Key Bank is apparently not interested in new customers. stopped in to see if they had any 2 dollar bills, Ironically I wanted to surprise some of my employees with a little reward for customer service and this branch was a convenient stop. I was greeted, I relayed my request an was quickly asked - Do you bank with us? I answered no and was curtly informed "We cannot do any currency exchanges with anyone who does not bank with us" It wasn't the message or the policy if it is one, But the interaction left me feeling like they did not want my business. I Went down the road and was received by another bank that I DO NOT BANK WITH and was handed 10 2 dollar bills with a smile. Hmm perhaps I will open a savings account....

  Tellers are so slow! The teller Amanda helped 2 of her well known customers through the drive through before she got to me. I was 1st before both the car got there. Then the system “crashed” total time in bank 20mins.... I’ve been a customer with key bank for 5 years never had a problem just with this branch! Another teller Silvia told me she had to hold my check for 3 days because I was a new member! How is this possible for if I’ve been keying with you guys for 5 years! I think it’s time to start looking for a new bank.

  Key Bank itself is a good bank from my interactions with them so far. This branch however is hardly helpful. Only headed here because it was where I was close to. Asking them a question about my account produced such a lack of interest or support when what I was needed that I ended up just walking out. Do yourself a favor and head over to the Sugarhouse location - they actually care.

  Terrible service, tellers aren’t helpful at all, the bank charges a 7.50 check cashing fee if you don’t bank with them. They require two forms of ID to cash a check, but they didn’t ask me for two forms of ID at the 3rd west location. So today, I went into the location on 13th East, and unbeknownst to me, they need 2 forms of ID before they can take they’re 7.50 from me! I would cash my checks anywhere else but the red background on the checks themselves prevents most check machines from reading it. Go figure. Key bank and their tellers can get bent.

  Good Morning, Thank you for getting in touch. KeyBank charges non-customers a fee to cash a check at our KeyBank branches. While we believe the fee is reasonable, and is an industry standard, I understand your frustration. None of us likes to pay fees, even when we understand why they exist. I would like to offer you an explanation: KeyBank is glad to render services to our customers – services they pay for through regular checking account service charges. We are just as glad to render these same services to those who are not yet our customers – we simply ask that they “pay as they go” for them. Checks cashed by those who are not our customers still require the same level of service, hence the fee. We also feel strongly that consumers should have the choice to either cash a check at KeyBank and pay the fee, or choose not to, and go to their own financial institution. That is why the teller informed you of the fee before you completed the transaction. Please be aware that KeyBank policies comply with the Uniform Commercial Code.
