Peggy MacNeil-Harper1I have been a customer since this was puget sound bank. It's always been fine. Recently this branch of key bank has became terrible as far as customer service/relations go. When they mess up,they call it an error, and there is absolutely no follow up to correct an error unless the customer is constantly checking and asking.

David Welch1So I tried to open up a new account here. As the staff was rude saying they couldn't do. Went to Vancouver WA and they let me open one like it was nothing. All too find out it's all based on what the computer says not what a staff member says without looking at computer.

Boss Dog5Have been going here for about a year. Tellers are awesome. I actually look forward to going to this bank. I also bank with Bank of America which is also on Pacific but farther down and they, Bank of America could really learn a lot on how to run a bank from this KeyBank branch

Owen Felty2ATM ate like $500 cash that I was trying to deposit. Went inside and they told me to call a 1-800 number to file a fraud claim. Took weeks to get my money back. Most of my experiences have been ok here though. Usually 5-10 min wait times to see a teller.

Hilary Kvale1Waited in line for 20 min with two cars in front of me and didn’t move so I finally parked and got my 4 children out to go in. There was one person being helped and one in line In the building. The guard said we had to leave and wait outside because they could only have a few people in the building at a time. He then suggested that I leave two of my children (the oldest of which is 7) outside unattended in south Tacoma while I go in. If this was an isolated event I would let it go but they are consistently terribly slow and incompetent except for one teller who is sometimes there and she has a whole wall of awards. They need to hire more people like her and figure out a way to better serve via drive up if they are going to so strictly limit the people in the building.

Galen Marek1Within the last few months, they've had 3 different security guards, 4 new personal bankers & 6 new bank tellers. Staff should not be constantly changing, makes this bank as a whole look bad. Out of everyone who left, I think Lorie, Mary, Jack (?), Daina & Alyssa (?) will be missed the most (hope i got their names right. They are the most memorable & left a lasting positive first impression. Can't say the same for a couple other people at this location.)

And your representative tried to tell me ABOUT MY TRANSACTION HISTORY WHEN I HAD IT PULLED UP AND SHOWING THEM HOW THE DEPOSIT WASNT TO MY SAVINGS OR BILL. Y’all stole 250 from me and Im SWAPPING BANKS. Keybank IS HORRIBLE. DO. NOT. BANK. HIDDEN FEES GLORE.

MAZI BURBANK1Do not use the atm deposit i deposit 700 dollars and it jammed up and took my money I had to file a dispute and they only returned 600 they know their wrong because there is cameras that clearly show what my transactions were unless the wasn't honest when clearing the machine

Toymisha Stephenson1I week ago lost my debit card. I was at work so I decided to go to the KeyBank closest to my job which was this location. I worked with a blonde haired lady. She said she closed my card and ordered me a new one to pick up at my normal location. I go to pick up my card only to discover that she LIED never closed my card or ordered a new one. Called to see why she didn’t , spoke to someone who said the blonde lady didn’t even work there. Super disappointed and will only go to the Portland location. Ericka Peters1Ok I can't even believe this happened. I go in to cash a personal check that was written for me and because I wasn't a member they charged me 8 frikien dollars for a 70 dollar check. It would've cost less at walmart. I'm taking money from your bank where the check is from, theres no reason I should've been charged a dime. This is damn rediculous. This is another bank in the buisness of screwing people over. Don't ever go here.

We are just as glad to render these same services to those who are not yet our customers – we simply ask that they “pay as they go” for them. Checks cashed by those who are not our customers still require the same level of service, hence the fee. We also feel strongly that consumers should have the choice to either cash a check at KeyBank and pay the fee, or choose not to, and go to their own financial institution. That is why the teller informed you of the fee before you completed the transaction. Please be aware that KeyBank policies comply with the Uniform Commercial Code.
