  Edgar is so professional that he brightened my day with his honesty as it was refreshing on such an overcast day mixed with negative interactions with other pawn shops.   So I came in for to check out this amplifier… wound up leaving with a amp and a ring for my lady. This dude Edgar was a awesome help and gave a me a killer deal for the amp and ring! I HIGHLY Recommend this place to everyone!!! Customer service is way better than pawn exchange.

  Went to get my stuff from then supposedly out of power but every other building around has power makes no sense if you didn’t want to work just say that I told them I was coming today which made it worse weird

  Hello Lazerrick, when the city looses power as much as we would like to hit that switch to turn the power back on its virtually impossible for us as a pawn shop to control when the city looses power or not. Power in the area was lost from 9am til 4:30pm and we just can't keep staff for over 6 hours without being able to operate properly. Thank you for your observation and your review, we will see how we can coordinate with the city and see if we can be the only business that gets an advance warning when we loose power so we can stay on top of it.

  Came in to pick up my 14k necklace I pawned a few months ago. Paid $130 to pick it back up and had cash in hand to want to buy some other jewelry. I walked over to the jewelry counter and asked if they had any simple rings in the 100-150$ price range. The guy said yeah we do then just ignored me as I stood there, wouldn’t show me anything. Started organizing the other case like I wasn’t even there..... He Treated me like I didn’t have the money to buy anything when I was ready to maybe drop 250$ Or more on a ring for my wife. That type of service is what makes me happy to walk out and take my money else where. Treating people with respect and kindness it will go along way for you and for your business. You just lost a good customer due to poor service. I would like to say the lady who helped me at the front counter was very nice and went out of her way to help me when she was clearly doing something else when I walked in. Only positive part about my experience.

  My wife and child visited here on 12/21/2020 at approximately 11:09 and my wife saw what appeared to be a possibly loaded and unsecured pistol sitting on a stool within reach of anyone walking in. It was next to a set of keys on a lanyard. The security guard was not anywhere near the pistol. When my wife brought this to their attention they claimed it wasn't a big deal. Called them on 12/22/2020 and they claimed my wife must have seen an empty holster. Confirmed that my wife saw a holster with pistol grip visible in the holster. Owner replied 12/22/2020 Over the phone I was told the security guard had a "personal pistol" that they had but in the reply to this review they are talking about a shotgun and a safe where the weapons are secured? If the owner would like to send footage proving my wife didn't see what she says she saw then they can send it to me. Currently the owner asserts there is only one employee who can access the footage and that person is unavailable. No time line of any kind was given. I will edit this review after seeing footage.

  Mr, Christopher none of these statements are true. Our security guard had his firearm carrier that he left on the stool. There was no such loaded weapon left on the stool, as a matter of fact our security guard did not have his weapon at all that day. When your wife stated there was a "shotgun" no one said to your wife that "it was not a big deal, that is another false statement. We explained to her that our security guard has a shotgun during his shift on his possession at all times. Our security guard was not on the other side behind the counter, he had gone in the back to put his lunch away as he had just walked in the door to begin his shift. The shotgun he does use during his shift had not left the gun safe yet since he had just started his shift for the day. When you called and made false statements regarding the incident, you also said to check the cameras and hung up, we have the footage to proof there was no such thing as a loaded weapon left in the stool at any given time, you are welcome to come in and see for your self. Thank you for your concerns but going to the extent of making false accusations like these when you hung up the phone when you called is hard to get clarification on the accusations you are making,

  I’ve shopped in here a few times. Bought an awesome sound bar for football Sunday’s and got a great deal in it thanks to Edgar! I recently bought a nice, clean little Ruger for an even better deal straight out the door! Prices are so good you don’t have to go back and fourth to get a price you can’t refuse. Got my gun In a very timely order once my back round cleared. I’ll definitely be in again when I need something I can simply get at Gold and Pawn. Super clean store and nice and helpful employees. I definitely recommend if you are looking for something. Check out this place first!

  Went into this new pawn shop in Tacoma and was so impressed with the service I received. All the employees were so nice and helpful! I was short on cash, and in no time I had the loan I was looking for. Super fair, & patient. The shop has a huge selection of high quality jewelry. I will recommend this pawn shop to all my family and friends!
