  Tired tired Why is Kemba like this? There is something very clearly wrong with your ACH system whenever a payment date change is effected because it charged me twice. Now I’m being charged an overdraft fee with my other institution because of Kemba’s incompetence. This has has opened to me a third time in the 3 years I have been with Kemba. And why do I have to take the hit of $34?! And now your agent says it is not your error. Then whose error is it?

  Customer service is extremely unhelpful. They changed on-line banking system and required all members to create a new account. Unfortunately, you cannot create a new account without your member ID. They subcontract overflow calls and were extremely unhelpful with gaining access. They basically said sorry about your luck, go into the bank to get help.

  This was the worse Kemba branch ive ever been to. I went through the ATM to simply deposit cash and two small checks. I couldnt get a teller so i attempted to deposit my money into the atm myself. My money waa spit back out to me. I walk into the branch and the tellers were rude. Not friendly at all. Then the blonde teller proceeds to run $590 through a money counter. Who cant count that by hand? Then she tells me its a different amount and it may be in the machine. Now i am out of $40. Who are yall hiring?

  Am I lucky? Or has the "bad" not happened yet? I have had nothing but a great experience with Kemba so far. I started with just a side savings account, and have slowly added another savings account, my main checking, and a credit card. Soon I hope to add a mortgage account. The staff are always friendly and I have yet to have an issue with them. The only problem I had was an overdraft on a savings account due to a vendor not adding the account prefix, so it defaulted to savings, but Kemba reversed the fee and took care of the issue. The new KIT ATMs in the drive-thru are nice. You can deposit, withdrawal, and do other services very quickly. The only downside I have is that in order to have a spouse share the account, you have to share the login info, you cant have 2 online logins tied to one account like most other banks.

  Kemba has been nothing but awesome. Easy, friendly and fast. The younger gentleman teller (Tyler I think) always remembers my name and is very courteous & polite. Kayla (another teller) is very sweet and very thorough at her job. I would recommend this place to anyone.

  This is one credit union that has very little consistency with membership information, no one listens to your issue they just like to tell you what the company policy is and that’s in the paperwork you get when you open an account “who reads that”. No one really goes above and beyond to correct or rectify the misinformed information given. The worst customer service I’ve ever experience from a financial institute.

  This place has been nothing but good to me since I became a member. I must say I am please with the patience as well as the courtesy given when dealing with me during this difficult time I am facing. The agents in loss prevention as well as the account managers who has been assisting me as well are amazing and I didn’t want to let that go un noticed.Thank you all for all that you do and continue the great customer service!

  Kemba is, without a doubt, the most incompetent financial institution in this state. They have done nothing but make mistake, after mistake. After closing my accounts - due to their incompetence - I left $300 in my checking account for any pending or automatic transactions. Kemba, without my consent, took that money and put it towards a personal loan I have with them, that is current. After the branch manager told me they would mail me a check with any funds that were not used. This happened after they sent me a tax garnishment letter for an individual whose name was similar to mine, yet born 30 years prior and obviously with a different social security number. How they could make such a mistake is beyond me. Not only that, they wouldn't honor a check I wrote because they also thought I was this other person. Kemba has failed at every single opportunity to prove themselves as a trustworthy place to bank. I have filled complaints with the BBB, NCUA, and the Federal Reserve. Kemba is a failure, they lie and WILL steal your money. If you value trust, integrity and accountability then don't bank with this credit union, because they represent the opposite of those values.

  I was just at the Rome Hilliard location using the auto teller for the first time. Alicia. ALICIA!!! She is ridiculously wonderful and nice!!! I didn’t have a pen and she brought one out in the cold and wind! How can I ever bank anywhere else when everyone there is SO nice!! Alicia rocks!! Give her an award!!! She is amazing!

  I had a direct deposit checking account at this location and due to health issues could not work for a period of time. Due to "inactivity of the account" this institution started taking a monthly fee until they emptied the account and closed it. They did all of this without so much as a letter, E - mail, phone call. At no time did I even receive a bank statement. I did not find any of this out until I went in to make a deposit. I caution anyone choosing a place to put your hard earned money to run from this place, money in hand. I would not trust them with a penny. They are friendly while they rob you.
